Kills in Heli as commander ?

Guys

I know that this is not on and using vehicle as commander will normaly get you kicked but just a thought .

If your sitting in a chopper as commander and you get arty kills will it register globaly in your stats as Heli kills as well ?

but not as kills "with" a heli. Your Heli kill stats will go up by the number of kills you did with artillery and what not, but for the dangly Helo award or the Veteran Helo badge you have to get a certain number of kills "with" a heli. Arti won't count.

ive heard of ppl as commander sitting in air/ground defense and getting those badges with artillery kills.....did they fix this with 1.41?

Nope. Was sitting in the Tow on the USMC side in Karkand uncap spawn as commander as their tanks and APC's kept raping the uncap and to stop jeeps going up to destroy assets, took about 4 tanks the whole game and a jeep. total kills......7. To get expert ground defense 20 kills are needed in a round, i was dropping artillery aswell and the badge appeared so arty still counts

I got alot of badges that way...It was when I very first started playing, I didnt even know what was going on.
