damn straight...
Once you get by all of the nade spammers and armor whores, the quality of people is much better than other maps. why? i have no idea.

one thing for sure...anyone who doesnt get a plane on another map must stand right behind your thrusters or right infront of you

and this one is completely inexplicable, but the admins at karkand seem more.....dare i say...intelligent. The other day on Wake someone got pissed at an admin and starting pissing him off. The Ever-so-powerful admin couldnt solve the problem reasonably...so he kicked the person for...(this is the fun part) UNrespecting an admin....

and just about 10 minutes ago i had a run in with an ornery player...it was actually quite funny. i joined his squad and spawned in his chopper as a gunner, and to be honest, i cant hit **** in the air with the TV. sure enough he kept calling me a noob. (i was actually listening to some lewis black stand-up at the time, so i could only here a few choice words). i saved his *** multiple times, from both the chopper and on the ground, but randomly he would call me a FREAKIN NOOB(edited for content). Over Lewis Black i heard something about someone leaving a squad yada yada, i didnt care. eventually he typed "YOU F***ING NOOB GET OUT OF MY SQUAD". so he kicked me. i ended the round with 105 points to his 101. and a kd of about 2 to his about 1. i stuck around for another minute the next game to shove it in his face ...then left

my point? i dont know, but i had never run into anything like some of these idiots when i have played at karkand...maybe its all in my head, but after 459 hours at kark, i think i should know.

It doesn't make sense. People who beat others fair and square and they get all [Insert Word Here] and they start calling other people noobs when they are one themselves. Really quite funny though. People were like calling the people who killed and/or was killed from them noob countless times.

I know I've been on an anti Karkand tirade recently, but saying that Karkand attracts the best of BF2 is a pure, unadulterated lie.

The typical Karkander is too busy totally disregarding their team, and spamming grenades to type, or say anything anyway .

Karkand attracts the absolute worst players in BF2. The same ones responsible for crying nerf this nerf that. Funny thing is they cry nerf the air vehicles and they only play Karkand because they can't fly.

Biggest bunch of skilless players I have ever seen is Karkand 24/7 only stat whores.

"The quality of the people is much better than other maps" Are you serious? I took a T-90 from gatehouse once and parked it at that building around suburb (The one where HMMWs and APCs drive through) and sat there for 10 rounds killing them as they repeatedly drove through... again and again...

All servers are different, all players are different, a lot of people who care about stats go on karkand cos easier to get points consistently as they dont have to run for miles between flags.

I must admit though since trying to get vet chopper and plane (im a ground and pounder) my TK's have gone up with retards jumping in front of me...hoe childish can you get!!!!

It's hard to TK someone with a chopper without trying. You pretty much have to spin on the landing pad. You just have to worry about people with M95's. I hate seeing snipers on the chopper pad. You know they're bad and just trying to get their sniper badge, and they'll probably TK if they're not in the chopper. I think Mashtuur is the best non-air map. It's where I got my knife badge, a sniper badge, and sitting on the roof of hotel with an assault kit and a clanmate as commander, priceless.

I spin on the landing pad as soon as I get a gunner so I can't get M95ed. Usually I already have a gunner waiting on me right when I hop in the pilot seat. I've TKed people while they tried to put C4 on my chopper, I've TKed people while they were lining up an M95 shot on me. It's not that I'm trying to be a butthead, it's that once I've got the chopper and I'm trying to get up I hate being TKed by turds who got there late.
