Communication problems

Ok i have two questions regarding ways to communicate in the game:

1) VOIP: it used to work , but now no one seems to hear me and i dont hear nobody... When i push to talk, i see my green speaker like when it worked, but nobody hears me. Only thing that has change since the last time it worked, is that i used xfire once. But now even if i restart everything, it doesnt work. Anybody have any suggestions for me to fix this????

2) Teamspeak: I DL everything i need, the client and server, but when i try to connect to my server, or a friend tries, it gives me the error message saying the server is not answering or not on teamspeak... (but i find the server in the server list of teamspeak) Any tips on how to finalize my settings???

Prove that your mic is not muted and also that it is not broken. Go to START>ALL PROGRAMS>ACCESSORIES>ENTERTAINMENT>SOUND RECORDER and see if you can get that to work.

If not, it is probably muted within the sound controls.

START>CONTROL PANEL> SOUNDS AND AUDIO DEVICES

Click on ADVANCED button next to device volume section and check to see all the slider bars are up and no mutes are on. Go to the OPTIONS/PROPERTIES menu on that screen and make sure all are selected for both recording and playback so you see all your volume controls.

Prove that your mic is not muted.

I don't give a crap if your system doesn't work, but if you want help, do what I ask. If you have it figured out, excellllllent.

Otherwise, in the end of all things, you are the one with the issue and you are the one that needs help.

sorry man its late, but the thing is i know the mic works cuz i use it in xfire.....msn... and in the game 3 days ago and didnt change a thing since.....


but tx anywayz and actually, yeah it works now for voip , i just need help with TS now....

Within TS there are different setups for codex types and bandwidth usage. Play with those and it will start working. Different settings depending on cards and ram so I can't help you choose the right one without knowing the sound card and your ram.
