I'm having a problem.

Hello everyone,

I recently started playing BF2 and the SF expansion, I alternate between them all the time, but I was looking through the rank infomation on this website and its says to reach the rank of Lance Corpral you need 500 global points. I looked at my profile on the ranking thingy, and it says I have 543 points? Also in game, when I view the BF HQ my progress bar is full.

I'm not sure what this is, but I think it's the fact I only have two medals? Do I need more medals to move on? Or is this a problem?

Thanks for your time everyone, some insight into this would be appriciated. I want my first unlock!

sometimes it just takes a little while to update. One time it took a couple of hours for mine to change ranks.

Yup, it can take an hour to a weekend depending on how backed up the stat servers are. You'll be good to go shortly, no worries.

Yes. The only points you will ever lose are when a server crashes before the game ends. You lose that round.

I was a year late myself. The sad thing was that when it first came out (the first week) I bought it, installed it and played one round with bots. I Hated it so much I shelfed it for a year.

Hehe, funny you should say that, I played it on a friends machine with bots and I thourght the same. The AI isn't great, but when I tryed the multiplayer... Hooked.

totally That and the comfort of learning the maps. Gotta say that from Counter Strike, the maps in BF2 were just so danged BIG. I wasn't used to so much open space or so many choices.
