how long does it take to create account

how long does it take to make an online account, mine been siitting for a while and it won't proceed tany farther. Im at the part where it says creating account and the big white arrow is showing in stead of the number 2. Also do i need to make a singleplayer account with the same name as the online one. i know i hav a lot of questions but they really help. thanks.

firstly no, the singleplayer account can be different.
and on the account creating, i think it did it relatively quick. how long have you been waiting at the most?

You can use the online name for singplayer.

for me, creating an online account usually takes like..10 seconds give or take. not that long

Well it depends on if you already know what you are going to fill in
my first time I think it took like ten minutes I couldn't come up with a name
and now I have this stupid name.

Ah well lol. I Guess that'll take five seconds lol. I don't even think it requires time. When created afterwards you are automatically logged in. (I thought)

ok. i turned the firwall off but it doesntseem to do any thing. when i start the game and there are single player accounts, is it also suppose to show the multiplayer ones. cause it only shows the single player ones. i click on the single player one and go to the multiplayer then to internet. there it says u need to create an online account. i make one but it stays on the screen that has my account details. after when i try to go to the internet multiplayer it says i need to make another account, but when i enter the same account info it says its already used by someone, that someone is me. so i think ive already made about 5-6 accounts.

possibly not. When you first install the game, you make an EA account name. THEN it prompts you to make a BF2 name and login password. If you think otherwise then while you are logging into game you can ask it to retrieve the other account information (that you made) by either login name or email address. You'll need to know the password to the account to get in and play it though.

To be sure someone else really doesn't have the name, plug it into a stat finder. If there are stats on the person, they've been playing the account and you didnt' create it. For this, use www.bf2s.com and put the errant user name into the PID or Account name field and hit the Get Stats button.
