iron sight/scope vs. crosshairs

I was wondering which one most people prefered to use (for snipers its a given, duh). Recently i almost never shoot without zoomed in with the iron sight (dont play special ops much) and i was wondering if other people do it too. To me it just seems more accurate but limits you to only have a screen

major question is does using the zoom thing really make that much of a difference?

L85AI = Crosshair, G36E = Crosshair, all others = scope/ironsight. Except the SVD, no scope . It's funny how the SVD is better for close combat that every other weapon out there...

close range = crosshairs
long range = ironsights

except iron sights gets annoying when the gun covers half ur screen, and the muszzle flash covers the other half so u cant really see anything ur shooting at

close range = crosshairs
long range = ironsights

QFT. Except the MG36...unless they are just a dot on a hill, I use no ironsights, just the crosshairs.

I rarely use the iron sights for the support weapons. Yes the gun covers half the screen, but you also get a deviation mod of 1 which is the largest for any weapon when using iron sights. Most are around 0.8 I think.

Yeah, I pretty much adhere to the close range=crosshairs, and long range=ironsights. I've tried to shoot the sniper rifles without the scope (closer range than long), but with little success.
