We were hacked. Several times over the past two weeks, in fact.
While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
isnt it true that ea is no longer resetting stats, as they have moved onto 2142 ressetage with dice sweden, ive reported at least 7 people for wall glitching airfield on wake, (kill them by c4ing the nose of a tank and ramming into said wall btw) kudos to the guy that thought of that, also there seems to literally be hundreds of k&p servers now, and havent heard of anyone getting reset lately.
also word is they were gonna close the stats servers down a few weeks after bf2142 came out but there are still a ****load of players, (more than bf2142 i hear), so they are waiting till servers die down more. honestly they should just scrap the bf2142 idea and make a real bf2 sequel. i cant't believe i wasted 50 bucks on that crap.
My clan had a strictly "No knives & pistols" policy aswell as the usual no cheating, exploits etc. We have 8 years experience in games. All our players are mature and above the age of 18yrs. We did play K&P before we got to know BFroe, then we passed a rule saying no member can join K&P Servers.
Someone from our clan was removed for stat padding also - we were 100% against it.
Its always the same though, you always get 1or2 clan members that really want to play K&P but know there not allowed. This caused a bit of a stir. In the end a respectable member, whos mature with family (trying to paint you the mentle iamge) phoned EAgames.
Hes based in america, and he happens to be a good friend of mine - ive known him for 7 years. Anyhow he asked the question to EAgames and basicly said "Can we or Cant we play on RA KED K&P servers, and will our stats be safe".
There reply was short and sweet - it was "YES" you can play on K&P servers and your stats wont be reset. So this makes me wonder exactly what BFroe is and how/why they get to play god and press the reset button?
Anyhow, once the news passed to the team there was a few members that hand a go, it lasted a few days and now they dont care for it. I can understand cheaters,exploiters etc Ban them and reset them. That is cheating.
If in a game you are able to set up a room in a knives and pistols format without hacking the game files. Then this would suggest its legal to play? You lay down your rules of the server, the server YOU or YOUR CLAN Pay for, people can then join and play. If you dont like it then dont join!?
I did play K&P way before i heard of BFroe i played it for fun, but i could only manage 2 rounds max as it is a fairly hetic game and concertrating so hard simply gives me a headache. These days i never play it, simply because of the image BFROE and others have given K&P itself. If seen on a K&P server your frowned upon.
I sit on the fence with K&P. I belive if it was so bad, then how come EAgames has said your stats wont get reset, or why havent they got some knid of fix to stop it happening? And why should BFroe be the ones with the power of god to reset stats and not EAgames?
Take infantry only... it was frowned upon like K&P, then 10million patches later eagames makes it an option in server set ups! I have posted about this before but my post "seemed to have been lost/deleted".
Before you jump on the big band wagon and start slagging me of i suggest you as a player look up the games hotline and phone them and ask them yourself. Get the info from the horses mouth - go straight to the top. Then make your post.
I belive that K&P is good for getting your aim up and moving well. It gets you moving quick! Great training! But you do get players that hang out there simply for "stats". Well i have my stats too, and when i look at someones stats i take notice at the "specific" information e.g.
Somone may have 500,000 points but his stats may suggest that he spent his life in K&P servers or in a tank or in a jet. Another player may have 500,000 points but his stats may say he spent 99% of his time as a ground trooper and his fav weapon is a G3 in Sharqi!? Whos the better player?
You can Tank whore, you can Jet Whore, you can Chopper whore, You can Command Whore or you can K&P whore. Hell you can even Infantry Only Whore! The list is endless. I would strongly suggest BFroe focus more on anti hacks anti exploits etc. Get rid of the cheats in the normal games and keep this game alive!
I dont understand why a lot of people are against IO servers. i personally find IO better because i always seem to get owned in vehicle maps. Im only really good in J10's, but who ist because it is an in destructible plane with the amazing ability to make heatseekers completely miss. But thats on a different point.
PLaying K+P doesnt fullfill the good feelling of killing someone on a normal server with a knife when they have a gun. I played on a KP a couple of times, got basic K and P badges and then decided that it wasnt good what i did, so i started a new account. Just start a new account if you want stats from the beginning again

BFROE talks to Ea on a daily basis, I find it funny that we see EA reset player that play on K&P servers, yet you claim they told you they wouldn't. Either you talked to the wrong person That did not know what they were talking about or you have been lied to. Did you speak with EACS?

This was later discussed in more detail on our ventrilo. So as you can see we are a rule abiding clan - we wont cheat/stat pad. But if you phoned a company up and asked them a direct question and they give you a direct answer then who do you belive?
Luckily many of our clan members are proud of there statistics. There also proud to be in the clan. They will abide rules set. Therefore there still a lil edgy with K&P because i have warned them your stats will be reset by BFroe.

Thats all good, but if someone phones eagames and heres something different that clashes wit hthe rules BFroe has set - who you going to belive? If rules are set for an online game then they should be consistent right through. Its statements from one "persons" that contridict statements from other "persons" that lead to people not following the rules.
I will add that the member who posted the results of his phonecall to eagames is our regiment Commanding Officer. And he is not really interested in K&P, but is 100% totally against cheaters and exploits as are we all. He was simply finding out the answers for himself about how you CAN and CANT play battlefield 2 online.
I'm not gong to argue with you. Put your money where your mouth is. Go jump on a K&P server, Take a screenshot and email it to me. See how fast you get reset.
Go ask the guys at www.youareprey.com how long it took to get their K&P server delisted. Go ask Sn][per Group how many times they have been delisted. The list is huge on how many K&P servers have been delisted.
I submit reports everyday on K&P servers and see them get delisted.

Like i said, i wont play on K&P. If i joind a K&P server and sent you a screenshot my argument would be why should BFroe play god when EAgames has said otherwise? Fair enough K&p servers may be delisted, but a member of my clan made a good point - there are still huge amounts of K&P servers listed.
Your fighting a war you cant win, and your spending so much time on it. Do us all a favor and spend your time looking into these wall hacks people use, aim bots, exploiters. Something which is caused by modified game content. Who cares about K&P - you can take one glimpse at there stats to realize there padders - but aim bot users, wall gltiches, cheaters there stats appear normal and fair (to a degree).
Lets hope BF3 is more clear about online rules, and also lets hope BF3 devs/support in eagames dont say one thing, when BFroe does another.

Sorry dude but I think it sometimes works sometimes it doesn't you can't get everyone just like crimes. Sometimes people get away with it, Unfortunately.

- Mostly dumb people buy hacks so probably they already suck at the game.
I think if a First Person Spectator Mode would be added people would whine a lot less in this game. Just my thoughts on that.
