Loosing connection everytime all of a sudden!

I for some reason have been having problems with my connection speed even though I have cable. Before, If I got disconnected it was because I got kicked for too high ping. Now all of a sudden Every server I go to it boots me out and says "YOU HAVE LOST CONNECTION TO SERVER". Whats is the deal. Please help.

i just started playing again and after a fresh install i can't join a server for more than a minute. just loses connection and displays that same message.

what are your system specs & what speed connection u got?

I have a 6 month old dell.

1G of ram
ati radeon x1900 512mb
Pentium 2.80 ghz
cable connection

It's possible that because you're on a cable connection with shared bandwidth, others are using their internet connection a lot too. Try playing at off-peak times such as 4:00AM in the morning (I kid, I kid!)
