BF2 Clan/Match Play

Hey guys me and a couple of my friends have started a clan and we are looking to start looking at strategies and creating some specific ones unique to our clan. We are looking for a good way to get started such as watching replays of matches and seeing which kits go into which squads, ect. and just the overall clan strategy on each map. Until now we have been pubing so we are trying to start transition.

My question is, where can I get some BF2 demo's of matches which will play in 1.4 and allow me to look at some good strategies. Also is there any good reading or forums about clan/match play?

I might have some I can get to you. As far as strats that are unique, that's tough. My advice to you are your team isn't to try coming up with something weird, or overly intricate, but instead concentrate on execution of basic strats. We have found that executing a fairly standard strat to perfection 9 out of ten times is going to net favorable results as opposed to trying to much. K.I.S.S. The real trick to winning matchs is to be able to adapt on the fly, spot opponents weakness and have the ability to jump on them when they are weakest. Timing and adaptation are the keys to a successful team in competition. decoying, and reflex actions, positioning, and timing it all...takes practice, practice, practice.

ok cool, that makes a lot of sense, I wanted to watch some demos to see things like generally what makes up each squad and where different people head in the beginning things like that. Because we dont have any experience I figured after watching some then we start to develop our own play. Again thank you and let me know if you get those demos

Some things weve learned from our matches.....

Have a team of 3 organisers for each match, 1 to communicate with the other clan, 1 to admin the server & 1 to organise your clan, all 3 should comunicate with each other.
Only play IO matches.
Make sure you have plenty of medics if your attacking.
If you have no uncappable spawn (MEC Karkand), select the easiest spawn to defend (Gatehouse) & defend it in some form.
