i need ur opinion on how good this rig is. give me pros and cons and rate it on a 1-10 scale of preformence. if anyone has a better motherboard thats under 200USD that would be nice.

P.S im not plannin on running SLI

It might play BF2... but only just.

You would have to have it on 800 x 600 with V low graphics

Seriously, what internet do you have? Cause however good your computer, if your still on 28.8 kb/s dial up, then your going nowhere.

There is no way you would need a quad core processor unless you are doing workstation stuff such as video or photo editing.
BF2 and all games at the moment (Bar Alan Wake) are not multithreaded as they are serial processes and therefore cannot be run in parallel. This is why having a Pentium D didnt make that much difference from having a pentium 4 when running BF2.

This is the way it's going to be for another few years until Intel and AMD find something a bit more effective than time division multiplexing and pre-emptive multitasking.
