I only complained about being booted from servers that had no specific rules about baseraping. 800#s of pooh in a 10 # bag.

My .02 on this whole thing: The OP requested a server to play on, some suggested servers (which I think he originally wanted), while others pick this guy apart because of the shamed word baserape, spawnkilling, whatever you may want to call it.
I like some replies that challenge their team to get off the carrier... HELL, I'm the first one that jumps off the carrier and swims for it...it's just how you approach the challenge and when you finally get the capture and your team gets going, it's a good feeling of teamwork.

The only thing you can do even "half ***" is fly, & your 800+ tk's in only 9200+ kills clearly shows you are teamkilling ppl (who are much better than you) w/ the M95 to get the jet

Not even close buddy.

Remeber a year ago when the everyone was running on runways to force tk's for people that stole THEIR jet to get them tossed from servers? Thats where the majority of my tk's came from. Not to mention when people tk me I have no problem returning the favor as I am not even close to worried about stats..........it ruins the fun of the game and so do stat whores like yourself.

A server i played on recently was the MOD clan server. They allow base raping and only have ONE rule; No whining. I Base raped there server owner/clan leader 4 times in a row, he said " i'm gonna get you in a min Jay ;')" I let him in the air and we had some great dog fights. Next round when i was USMC he raped me like 5 times in a row :laugh:

As far as i see it, if you are in a server that allows it, and everyone is up for it, there is no problem. But when the server has specific rules you must respect them.

You stated your sick of being kicked from servers that don't state whether they allow it or not, i've found that most of the time if they do allow base rape they will say, so its best not to if they have no specific rules. (or ask an admin)

Also, if you base rape yourself, dont complain when others do it to you, you just look liek an *** (unless teh server forbids it ofcourse )

Even if your a decent pilot, I still don't want to be reduced to what is mindless carnage of an powerless enemy. I'd much prefer to taking out a tank a teamate spots or protecting my chopper or even better dogfighting, if I get caught out by a plane then fine tis a game at the end of the day.

Sportsmanship all it is, don't tend to find much of it in BF2 :)

Serial Butcher is giving you a hard time because your Infantry K/D sucks? Although I prefer to leave SB alone now; history dictates that I laugh at this turnabout. It was just two months ago that I was poking fun at him for his Infantry K/D. He said the same thing as you said. "Do I need to run on foot and increase my K/D to impress you?"

I said yes. Hes obviously worked hard to improve his Infantry game since then, as hes made leaps and bounds in the right direction towards versatility.

BIGDOG you're not a braggart, so I have no qualms with your score. However, I will say that you lack versatility. Breaking from any habits that you may have, and practicing is your best bet to improve your game. =)

Anyhow; back on topic. Carrier raping is really only prevalent on Wake Island. If this is really such a problem, then why the hell would you play on that god awful stage anyways?

More so, I don't see why Uncappable Bases on every stages should remain safe zones, simply because Wake is severely flawed.

I usually go by one simple rule and it always works for me when dealing with base rapers and spawn campers. That rule is " When in Rome do as the Romans do ". Follow the server rules untill you see, if you see, they are meaningless. If you are a good player you will do well without bombing the Essex. If not, oh well. . . . . . . Red

Ye but if it was wake lets say it would be jets on the carrier and then tank and infatry on the little island or karkand the mec have only hotle and they get there *** raped so I'm saying now what if that is the only place to spawn.

I take it your on your school holidays. You must be sat in front of your PC watching this thread cos nearly every statement from someone gets a response from you!

Your right in that you should be able to play the game they want but wrong in the way your going about it. There's a lot of people that have replied to this thread that have been part of this forum for a long time and whose opinions are more respected than yours.

Going on the offensive with everyone that doesn't agree with you doesn't warrant an adult response and just p*sses people off.

Here's an idea, have you found a server that lets you base rape with a plane?

Yes: Play on there

No: Ask the admin(s) if it is ok when trying a server for the first time.

No server is going to list a full set of rules on the scroll text!

You have the right to play the way you want..but we have the right to play the way we want and not getting base raped i'm sure is quite near the top of a few people's list.

I'm sure you'll have a response to this.......................
