Okay i was looking through the ranks my dad has 36000 global points and he is still the same rank his bar has been filled up for a while now and he cant rank to the next level. on this site it says "Global Points Required:20,000" this is he rank he has right now but the next rank says "Global Points Required:20,000 Req" the req i pressed it and i saw some bages you need so im guessing for my dad to rank he needs to get all the basic bages that are listed.

First Sergeant
• Basic Knife Combat Badge
• Basic Pistol Combat Badge
• Basic Assault Combat Badge
• Basic Anti-tank Combat Badge
• Basic Sniper Combat Badge
• Basic Spec Ops Combat Badge
• Basic Support Combat Badge
• Basic Engineer Combat Badge
• Basic Medic Combat Badge

he needs all of these if i am correct then he will get his next rank and then at 50000 he will get his new one and then he has to get all of thse bages

Sergeant Major
• Basic Armor Badge
• Basic Transport Badge
• Basic Helicopter Badge
• Basic Aviator Badge
• Basic Air Defense Badge
• Basic Ground Defense Badge

If im correct please tell me i dont know for sure but it seems about right.

Also a small question, for example
•7 Knife Kills in 1 Round
• 50 Global Knife Kills - Basic Knife Badge
• 100 Global Knife Kills - Veteran Knife Badge

7 kills in 1 round is meaning 1 map and global knife kills is all together in as may maps as you have played right?

you cant get 1st seargant after you pass 20k points, you have to acquire the appropriate badges before 20k

yes ayou are correct and when it says 7 kills in a round that means you have to get all the global kills required first (if any) and then in any round after you reach that point get 7 kills IAR.

You need to 1st meet the global requirements then get the IAR (in a round) requirements. eg you need 50 knife kills 1st, then get 7 knife kills IAR to get basic knife

it will all work fine but you wont be able to get the Rank of First Sergeant, if you get all the basic badges you will be eligible for Sergeant Major

I got all my badges before the 20,000 mark so i was ok getting the first sergeant. However is this info common knowledge and if so is there a website that gives you all the information. Reason being i have all vet badges apart from helicopter and plane and a few expert. Will having only the basic heli and plane hold me back (im currently on 83k) ??

There are several sites on the web that will help you with the info that you need. I use "BF2s.com". This might not be the best site but I like it. I hope this helps you out. . . . . . . . .Red

Your next rank is 50K points once you get past the 20K mark you cant get first SGt if you don't have the Req.
