    Re: Battle Recorder

you can not get off single player or lan. But if you want to get it go to the community tab and look for battle recorder then click on one of the games listed and hit download.

you can only do this a short time after the battle and not all servers run BR.

      Re: Battle Recorder

You could have used your other thread you made on BR that explains how to get them from an online game depending if the server has BR and setup properly. http://www.totalbf2.com/forums/showthread.php?t=106218
Just join our server if you want to save yourself the trouble of finding a server where BR works.

Anyways. To record a demo using single player or LAN mode, bring up the console by hitting the tilde key ~ then type demo.recorddemo [demoname] to start recording a demo. To stop recording the demo bring up the console again and type demo.stoprecording You will find you BR demos saved in Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\Demos\

To play your demos you need to have BF2 running then go into the community section. The online BR demo bookmarks are in the left column. Click on it then download it. It will then appear as a downloaded BR demo in the right column. If you recorded a demo in single player or LAN mode they will appear in the right hand column as well.

To answer your next question which you are bound to ask. Here are the playback/movement controls.
