Definitely the g36c. The sights aren't as good (not even close unfortunately) as the scar-l but it takes the same number of shots to kill someone and is definitely more accurate, with less deviation and less recoil.

This means you can pop shots off very rapidly single shot at medium-long distance and hit with almost all of them.

I actually think nothing can kill faster and more consistently at middle distance unless you are an excellent shot with the sniper rifle.

Between the G36c and SCAR-L, I'll take the latter. If I want to use a G36, I'll take the e version and medic whore like everyone else; it is a great weapon, after all.

The SCAR... I just like it. Love the scope, like the accuracy, like it overall. But if I had to choose between the G36e and that, I'd probably take the -e. :hmm:

IMO no class is better suited for large vehicle maps then a G36C Spec Ops.(unless you enjoy AT/engy) The gun can snipe effectively at distances do to its low recoil. Once you learn the sweet spot on the sights its viscious at a distance on single shot. The CqC is nice to since it has a nice clip, full auto and such low recoil.
Add in C4 for fighting back against vehicles and its a lethal combo.
The Scar-L sights are nice, but the recoil is so horrible it fails in CqC alot more thne the steady feel on the 36C...I put more faith in spraying a person in the chest with a 36C then relying on a pin point headshot just because I have a pretty red dot.
One thing Ive learned about Bf2..relying on headshots will just introduce you to the world of puffs of smoke.

I just cant for the life of me figure out who thought "lets give medics a stronger version on this gun"

definately the g36c for me.. . the scar-l has too much recoil... even though the red dot sight of the SCAR tromps the iron sight of the "G", the G shoots better, less recoil and you can get more shots on target in a burst with the G... if the G had a mil-dot scope like the SCAR it would be the finest weapon in the game, hands down...

the rest depends on my mood, and wether or not the 'bouncing' of the SCAR's scope gets on my nerves

G36C has less deviation and less recoil....

It has 2 points less damage, but that doesn't matter because neither one will get a headshot kill.

G36C > Scar-L
