Bf2 Question/help!!

How do you set it so that every time you hit some one an X comes up on your cross hairs it only sometimes happends for me like when i snipe it never showes up and i dont know if i hit the person??

If your bullet(s) hit your emeny, the X will be shown in your crosshair.

I have this problem as well. When sniping, the X doesn't appear when you hit the person, only when you kill them. It's quite annoying cause if i have taken someone down to 2 bars of health i wanna finish them off with pistol, not use another sniper round thinking that i have not hit them. There is nothing worse than running out of ammo when your teams only flag is half way across the map...

Thats funny i always get an X on a hit. I just wish it would only appear when i hit infantry and pilots (not vehicles).

If it doesn`t show up then you just didn`t hit him. Its BF2, anything can happen.

WRONG.

Some servers has disabled it, so that you can't see if you hit the emeny. Dunno why they turn it off.

Probably the same servers who turn off the alternate vehicle views. Curse those scum bags!!

It's a server setting. As I said in previous post, some server admins takes that option off. I prefer it's on :)

a noob question:
when i am a commander, how can i get to the place called "commander seat", where i can give commands and where nobody can't kill me. i tried in singelplayer to be a commander and i appeard as a usual soldier.

Regarding the sniping issue, when zoomed and taken the shot, keep your finger on the left mouse button and it will stay zoomed in until you let go, this will show the hit.
