I recommend that you get it. Nice graphics, great gameplay and not nearly as many issues as BF2. I have found alot of servers with mature admins and regulars that i like. If/when you get it, PM me and ill give you the server names and IPs.

only trouble is lots of servers are filed with bots and its hard to filter them out and find ones with just players.

not really u just click on the server,view server info and look how long theyve been there if there bots there time shows liek this -1s so now u know:)

The game runs on some thing called steam it auto updates teh game etc. It also stops cheating its kinda like ea link. www.steampowered.com

If you find a decent server, the skill level of the players is something you will NEVER witness in BF2 (unless the person playing the game plays CS :P).

I have yet to see a "12 year old with mic", and there is nothing arcadey about 1 life per round. The weapons aren't unbalanced, they're equally ****ty on both sides.


Oh, for the bot filter, you just right click the resizable tabs are (i.e. server name, players, etc) and tick Bots and every server with a B logo is a bot server. Be careful, because sometimes they're actually HLTV servers. Best way to tell is by no. players, or doing whatever stephensolfo said.

yeah im thinking of playing it, but can i play it on a ATI radeon x300 PCI express?

there is a good clan you should join/ play with called (DoGs), there on on CS CZ aswell ther are a fun clan and have a couple of servers running. expet i dont play CZ anymore

If you can play BF2, then you will have higher performance in CS. You'll probably have to disable bump-mapping and specular lighting, but you won't even notice since they're not in BF2.

A great server is 24/7 Office [Webkillers #7]. Very few smacktards and no abusive admins. The teams are usually stacked, but you have to deal with that pretty much everywhere. Very enjoyable.
