Stuck At 5 Unlocks For A Year!

I've been searching forums far and wide and as far as I can tell I seem to be the only person with this problem For over a year now, playing almost every day, I've been stuck at 5 unlocks and can't get the other two. I've been using those locked weapons, got medals and advancements for using them but no more unlocks Is this a bug? Thanks...

You get a unlock by ranking up to next level such as becoming Major or General...etc.

ya never know ... need your bf2 id and we can look at your account stats, plus do u have special forces?? getting that will give you more unlocked guns

Im pretty sure he knows that

No cause he didnt write if he got promoted...For all I know he played for a year and is stuck at one rank.

thanks for all the feedback, I am pretty sure I have ranked-up a few times while I've been stuck. my bf2 id is 'cmotd' ta for any help!

Yes, it's a big jump from 8000 to 20000 for the next rank; even farther for the one after (50000). See http://ubar.bf2s.com/ranks.php . If you want more unlocks quick, you could buy the Special Forces expansion pack; once you play a bit of SF you'll get 5 more unlocks as soon as it registers on the account server.
