Appeal?

Hello Folks,

I was banned from Freunde des Lebens and the msg I get is that I was banned for excessive team killing. This was simply not the case, for the 3-4 hours I was on that server, I might have got 3 accidental team kills.

Is there some sort of appeal to EA Games so's that this bullsh** lie won't "stay on my record"? Or does it not get recorded? Could not EA "see" the team kills I got on that server?

I don't mind their banning me, since they're obviously square heads, but if the ban gets recorded against me, along with the "excessive team kills" gobbledygook, then I'd like to find out if I can get this rectified.

I forgot to mention I was kickin' the =FdL= clan members' arses p'tty bad... I know they were sore at me, I should have taken it easier on them, but then it's war... I need to fight hard for my team... it's all about getting the most points for your team.

If they can't handle a bit of competition, they should network play only, and not get online. Or maybe they shoulda just told me they couldn't handle me and to please go play (slaughter) elsewhere... I would have obliged.

I believe that's the default "reason" for bans/kicks. I don't think you can do anything through EA/Dice because you probably don't have any solid proof of what really happened.

You can try to find the server's website and see if they have forums and ask for an unban. The few times I have been banned from a server were for completely stupid reasons (taking out commander's assets & taking their main base). I would just be happy that you won't get to play on a server with stupid admins (assuming you got banned for a stupid reason).

I know, it's no big deal, just pissed me off anyway, 'cause of the cockamamie reason for the ban... maybe it's just a default, as someone mentioned.

Stupid admins? Certainly. A disgrace to the Netherlands? Absolutely.

"Freunde des Lebens" sounds pretty german to me. The server could have been located in the Netherlands though. So, you might call it a "disgrace to the Germany". Which I think would not be the nicest thing to do. edit: the same counts for the Netherlands of course

Justice! I was playing on a 24/7 wake server, I got in the Chinese chopper as the gunner. The pilot kept telling me to get out over and over again(no one else was at the pad so its not like his buddies wanted in) so he takes to the red zone to die so he can be a DB and take the chopper all for himself. As i slowly die, i see an admin message

"Banning (insert forgotten name here) for redzoning mrkidkill"

Justice has been served. There really are servers out there that dont take **** from any one and it just warmed my heart

Now that is how a proper Server Admin adminsiters. Being a server admin is like being a policeman, there is a duty to exercise one's powers in a fair manner to all, otherwise, you're no better than a bully or a jackboot SS.

Well whoever is administering that server is a disgrace to their kind, whomever they may be. I won't back away from tha position unless I hear of a good reason for the ban, which there wasn't in the first place.

Some ppl fight back when they've been wronged. I just happen to be one of those ppl. I jsut wanted to expose their lack of judgement, that's all.
