USI help needed

i just got it installed it and such but now where do i go to play it it didnt make a icon and i cant find it so anyhelp wold be apreciated

try c programs . ea games .bf2. mods .usi. might be a short cut there ifso copy short cut to desktop hope it helps

In the community tab, click on 'Custom Games'. Then a list will come up. Double click on USI. :)

Or you can make an icon, if there isn't one already. Copy your bf2 shortcut, and rename the copy to 'USI' or something. Then rightclick on it, go to properties. To the end of the 'target' line add ' +modPath mods/usi' (without the quotes).

well theres only a pic of usi in there but its not a link so i will try e-Gor's idea

w8 is it possible to turn that into the game icon?

Okay, I might have a way of running directly into the game for you.

Examine this shortcut to play Project Reality :

"C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +modPath mods/pr +menu 1 +fullscreen 1

In this case, it is starting BF2 but aiming at the "pr" folder which is where the Project Reality mod is, although there is no .exe file in there.

Look in that folder path and replace "pr" with the name of the USI folder an see if that starts the game from desktop straight to USI gaming. I suggest you simply copy and paste the original BF2 shortcut on your desktop and then rename it "USI" then go and change the path by right clicking on it and selecting "properties".

if you are using a widescreen monitor at say 1440x900 then simply add " +szx 1440 +szy 900 +fov 1.08" onto the end if using a 1440x900 monitor (remember the initial space at the beginning!) ie :

"C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +modPath mods/pr +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +szx 1440 +szy 900 +fov 1.08

There should only be apostrophes before

C

and after

BF2.exe

Nowhere else
