how come i still see it a lot (Karkland)
how is it done anyway, how come they dont die?

FF is off, it's a setting server side that the admins can opt for. Nothing to do with patches

In reference to c4 the 1.4 patch did decrease the range it can be thrown in an attempt to put the nail in the coffin for C4 chuckers whom used scripts.

FF off and what they did in 1.4 or 1.41 (not sure witch) is they reduced the radios of C4.

C4 boosting is useless, especially in Karkand. You are by far the easiest target for snipers. With that in mind, I love C4 boosters! Its easy kills right there.

...and the C4 chucking thing does not need a script you simply have to time your throw with your jump and you get a nicely chucked piece of C4. Its a bit harder to do with 1.4, but none the less still possible.

Just find a server with FF on. C4 "boosting" is quite fun.

They really need the grap hook and zippline for bf2 it would be awsome.. in some ways other ways it could get alittle anoying...

Good point Ding Dong, if any of you like C4 boosting, and don't own Special Forces, you should give it a go! You might even end up liking it. You can get to some great hiding spots with the grapple hook :)
