New Joystick, have no idea how to set it up!

Alright, I went down to bestbuy to get a joystick. They only had one, and I purchesed it. It is a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro.

So I plug it in, and install it. After that, I go to its "properties" and add BF2 as a game and set the controls how I want it.

I try to play BF2, and nothing happens. The joystick dosent work at all, and I have no idea what to do. I need help! (it dident come with a manual)

Thats weird. Did you calibrate the Joystick? Or just reset the whole thing. And also, this might sound stupid, but did you hit apply changes in the controls section of BF2?

I dident apply changes in the control section.

Is there a way to setup the joystick in the control section?

It works now, sorry I made a dumb mistake.

No problemo. Just helpin a fellow player. OK, to make changes, for example, roll right-tilt the joystick to the right, throttle-use throttle, etc.
