    Ok, game loads fine...

    Why not just addtemp the existing attack marker to the weapon instead of adding your own?

        you are addtemping the parts of the effect instead of the whole effect.

          But if i add the whole effect, won't that screw things up? I thought I added everything I needed too?
          Do i just copy and paste the whole .tweak from the squad leader smoke into the reg smoke, and keep the reg smoke properties aswell?

            Stop screwing with the attack effect. Just up the emittime and/or timetolive of the smoke effect. There should be 3 or 4 different components to the effect. The one that currently is set the longest is the one you need to tweak.

              But, in the effect for the squad leader smoke...
              the creation effect or whatever isn't normal, I think it's for when the squad leader makes the order, so do I just take that out or what?

                One i don't understand completely what your trying to do but i would suggest (from what i have heard) changed the smoke color and change the time to live it's not that hard. like globalfear said

                  Run it in windowed mode, and you'll almost certainly get an error message.

                  But the problem is possibly due to you creating objects with the same name as some already created. Just remove all that code at the bottom and keep the addTemplate lines.

                    At that point he is addtemping parts of another effect. Correct me if I'm wrong but, you can only addtemp a file. Not a part of one?

                      You can addtemplate any template. (Anything created with ObjectTemplate.create)
