patch a different directory?

hey guys i have a problem.
I installed my bf2 to a different directory than default because my first install had corrupt files. so how do i patch my new bf2 install in the new directory?

i cant rename it because it has corrupt files

Uh, wtf are you talking about? Corrupt files have nothing to do with not being able to rename it. Or do you mean your HDD has **** the bed?
