Bought friends BF2 can I reset his account?

I have bought my friends BF2 as he no longer likes it, can I reset his stats and have my own username/account name?

Just make a new account name. He can still use your serial number though, so if you get the "serial number is in use" thing, it's your friend. Try registering the game when you install it.

And yes, when you make a new account you will have fresh stats.
