Ingame communication

Hi , im going to buy myself a headset today and wanted to know how you guys communicate in the game.... Do you use the default voice ip etc or do you use another software like ventrilo or something like that.....

Also, with the default system of the game... can you only communication with your squad and block the other players??

Using the one in squad and also Vent if I server has one.

i use the in-gmae one....VOIP.....tho its only used for communicating with your squad, if you are squad leader, u can communicate with the squad and commander....commander can communicate with squad leaders.....and thas about it.....u can block any individual on VOIP u want

Some servers also run TeamSpeak or Ventrillo and you can configure these to run alongside of the ingame VOIP. The other two comm packages mean you will be talking with everyone on the channel no matter which side they are on. It's good for friends and social stuff, but you have to be careful in combat situations.

so basically if i only want to communicate with my squad and commander , the best one is the voip......? Can u communicate with the other squad leaders or you always have to pass through the commander???

squad leaders can only chat with their squad, or the commander using voip

commanders can only communicate with squad leaders on voip

squad members can only communicate amongst their squad on voip

people who arent in a squad cannot use voip

80% of people in squad don't use VOIP either it seems. Don't be dissuaded if you have a hard time finding talkers at first.

You can talk to your cammander and your squad I dont think you can talk to your team although Vent and Teamspeak are other good communication ways.

No you cant talk to your team, only squad members.
