    BF2 Problems + My thoughts

So, I've been playing BF2 for 2 days now, and I've had 1 CTD already, it happened after 6 or 7 hours of straight gameplay, so...

I'm still a beginner to the maps and stuff, I couldn't be arsed to jump to SP and play against bots. No. I went to the I-Net straight away. My KDR says it all.

Then, I've got a few issues. Here:

    1.
When I play as medic, and go to revive someone, I'll lay down up to his chest, or back, and defiblirrate the guy, sometimes I "miss", so the guy won't get back to life. Why's that?

    2. Aiming. I've got no problems in scope-off mode, everythings smooth. But when I turn on my scope / ironsights, I can't hit a ****. Why? Let me show you.

The reticule moves between those boxes, so I miss everything that's on those white spots. This is in BF2 scopes.

Like this, the reticule can move to every place I want it to. This is CSS scopes.

I've tried to change my sensitivity, and I've got a MX3000 mouse. Is that just me, or is that just how BF2 scopes work? Please explain, that is annoying as hell.

A game made by EA Games..it's never "just you".
BF2 is a fuked up game, that I used to play all the time.
The scopes are messed, I can be point blank with a Sniper, still miss.
    It's bf2, sh!t happens.

      here's real answers

      1. It's because of several different reasons.

      - ragdolls are calculated client-side. Sometimes what you see on your screen, isn't exactly where the body is server-side. This tends to happen if guy you're trying to revive died from a blast (making his body fly) or on a hill (he's tumbling down the hill). If you "miss" your revive, try again, but this time half a meter to another direction. Which direction ? If body flew/tumbled from north to south, try ½m north or south ( = along bodys flight/fall path).

      - There's world geometry going through a body. If your target has his head in a wall, or flag pole sticking from his back, odds are that you can't revive him at all. This is probably intentional, in order not to revive people IN to world geometry

      - Guy is "killed" instead of "critically wounded" - you can't revive those.

      2. I know that you can fix this, but I'm not 100% sure how. It probably has to do with your mouse dpi. Do a search on forums, I'm pretty sure this has been answered before. You could try installing mousewares AND advanced mousewares and see if you can get fix it by adjusting options there.

nah its to do with the crappy lining up of the scopes and ironsights to where the gun actually shots

let me dig up the post again, or if the guy who psoted it could come that would be brilliant, sorry but your name escapes me :)

The off center sights arent the issue being discussed by the OP.

The 'grid phenomenon' is exremely aggrivating, especially at distance.

thing being thouhg that even with that grid thingy the actual deviation put on eaach shot would mean those areas would still get hit, at least as i look at it

When reviving make sure your cross hairs are on the persons chest then zap him back to life. You can kill your enemy with the paddles from a good distance as well.
