something pretty humurous happened today while playing armored fury. there was a tunguska attacking me and i hit behind a little cement wall. i was a medic, so i was pretty defenseless. i thought of a technique, which reminded me of how paranoid people get when someone comes up close to their tank and plants something. So i pull out my first aid packs, run up to the tank, pertend im "planting" something, and needless to say he got out only to get G36E'ed. Pretty funny. I thought of this before but never tried it until today.

state some techniques you've come up with, whether it be a dogfighting technique or a infantry trick.

i dont know if this is a "technique" but its something fun to do....

when you see a tank driving away from action, jump on the back of it (so long as he doesnt notice you there) and just stay there until he stops and gets out to repair. then kill him, taunt him, and drive away with his tank

if u meant for me, its a tunguska if u missed that. I dont drive tunguskas, it is the crappiest vehicle in the game, pretty much useless to anything on the ground because of its obstructed view. Yeah I've given up on them, only use them as a last restort to transportation IF my sprint is zero.

I put C4 on my tanks before getting in them.

That way when somebody does this to me, they die immediately after taking my tank.

I'm not much of a vehicle whore, but it is gratifying to think of the laughter the enemy had fade away when they realize that they were the ones who were duped.

I put Ammo packs across the road, at the top of the hill and watched 3 different vehicles stop and back down the hill so they wouldnt run over them. The one I do the most is to drop an anti-tank mine behind armor then run around to the front and jump up so they can see me holding my AT mine. They always back up to get a better shot and explode on the first one.
Also I like to kill an enemy medic when I need a medic kit or supply guy when I need supplies. It really makes medics mad to see you pick up thier kit drop a few medic packs, then get your orignal kit back and use the medic packs. I guess thats more than one trick isnt it, woops. Also I dont think that any of these tricks are mine but they are good tricks. . . . . . . . .Red

It's not much of a trick, but the kit swapping mentioned above is invaluable when defending a flag area. I love to kill a squad with a combo of mines, nades, and guns, and then exploit each of thier kits by dumping bags in a little stash for me to access as needed. By the time they respawn and assault my position again, I'm fully healed and re-armed.

Almost every infantry squad has a medic and hopefully a support guy, so you can do this forever.


And I have used the fake C-4 trick before too.

Most people with good graphics settings call my bluff when I try the bag fake. And I NEVER get out of the tank to try and kill someone. I'd rather go down trying to squish them or shot them with the gun. If I die, I try to get the tank again. It's better than getting served and them getting another tank for their team to use.

here's some twists to stuff already mentioned :


kit switching is pretty neat near flags

1. kill a sniper
2. drop his claymores on spawn points
3. wait for him to respawn and die right away
4. goto 2

...

armor can't aim really low. They can't shoot you if you're 1-2m away, or if you're proning even 5 m away. Running at a tank and dropping prone can be really effective way to survive some extra seconds to put the last AT rocket in, especially if it doesn't have much room to maneuver.

And on the armor topic, armor will drive right over you if you stay centered between the tracks.

When pinned, go prone, and let him try to run you down. By the time he realizes you aren't dead, he will not have time to swing the barrel, and you can bolt away or maybe use a mine/c-4.

I have a good one, I rape the J-10 spawn and get lots of kills from all the J-10 newbies.

good one with the med bag as C4.


it aint so much funny, but i tend to stick on AT mine in between the turret and body of my tank, its litterally invisible unless you prone on the front.

so i can get out of my tank to repair and any enme that wants to steal it can but the second he does, i'll stop repairing and run. he moves any direction for any amount of time and BOOM! he's gone, then i can request a vehicle and another tank

HAHAHA ... Well that was just hillarious! I'll absolutely think of that next time I come close to a tank!
