Right, so I made a story that's basically just a spin-off from battlefield. I'm just gonna put up the prologue and first chapter and if you want, I'll put up the other five chapters. Grammar and spelling mistakes are prolly in there, but not alot of them. Thanks.

The Iraqi war ended when Bush's presidency ended in 2009 and a new president came to office. His name was President Johnson. In 2010, Iraq had a president and vice president, but still some rebels were fighting. Iraq put together local police to end the small rebellions. By 2011, there were no more rebellions and Iraq was putting together a military. September of 2011, Iraq was at war with Iran. Iran invaded Iraq and there was much violence... The U.S. stayed out of it, but news groups covered the scene. By March 2012, Afghanistan and Oman allied and aided eachother, getting rid of most of their own problems and setting up a government like the U.S. had. In December of 2012, the united forces of Afghanistan and Oman aided Iraq, sending hundreds of thousands of soldiers and tanks into Iran. The war ended with the three countries annexing Iran and creating what was later known as the Middle Eastern Coalition.
While this war was going on, Parliament of Great Britain sought a permanent alliance with France and Germany. The Prime Minister of France, the minister of Germany, and the Prime Minister of Great Britain met together in Great Britain to talk it over. Great Britain wanted to combine into one nation known as the United European Nation. They wanted to have one overall parliament and one overall Prime Minister. France agreed to these terms, thinking of money and recourses they could use to improve France's economy. Germany would only agree if Poland was also in it. In November of 2012, they all met again and Poland was included. Great Britain, France, Germany, and Poland were now known as the United European Nation.
China, growing overpopulated, sought an alliance with Russia. The Russian president and Chinese Premier met together and discussed the terms. A quarter of the Chinese population (reaching almost a million) would have to move into Russia. Russia didn't like this and sought out Japan to see if they would also be in this alliance. In late 2012, the Prime Minister of Japan had a meeting with the Premier and the Russian president. The U.S. intervened... They thought that if Japan succeeded in an alliance, that they would expand their military and try to hit the U.S. again. The U.S. launched a bombing raid over Japan, hitting Tokyo with hundreds of bombs. It left the city (civilians and militarymen) dead, the city in ruins. Japan agreed to the alliance, seeking revenge against the U.S. China, Russia, and Japan were now the Asian Nations.
After each of these nations were formed, bad relations grew. The European Nation was worried that Russia would hit them at any moment. Because of this, they made a very strong defensive line on the borders of Poland. Russia, offended by this remark, started to build up their military to scare the Europeans. After the bombing on Japan, China and Japan rebuilt Tokyo and built defenses around it, but didn't go after the U.S. They thought that would be a very foolish thing to do. Instead, they just built up their military. The Middle Eastern Coalition saw each and every one of these alliances as a threat and started to gain more and more power.
China and Japan (Russia was still building up) hit India very hard. They overtook it in a matter of months and started to scare the Middle Eastern Coalition. Saudi Arabia, seeing that another world war would be starting, joined the Middle Eastern Coalition in January, 2013. They built up their borders with great military force. They now had giant pillboxes and bunkers, sandbags, mines, obstacles for the tanks on the beaches, and machine-gun positions all over the place.
Then, the European Nation declared war on the Asian Nations and on the Middle Eastern Coalition. The U.S. talked with the European Nation about it. The European Nation wanted to keep peace, but keep the alliances like they were. The U.S. wanted to break up the alliances, and so the U.S. and Canada declared war on all of them. World War III... has started...
Chapter One: Cairo
“When did you and your boys transfer in?” General Reigns and Major Speirs were pacing the dry, hot desert floor.
“Just yesterday. There’s a platoon of us… About twenty-six men I believe. They’re set up in bunks now and they’re getting familiar with the place. I have my captain running drills with them right now.”
“Good… We have an operation we need to be commenced. Your boys got any training?”
“We were staged in one major battle in Europe… But that’s it, sir.”
“Well, that’s fine enough, I just need SOME experienced soldiers, we’re probably gonna get a hell of a lot of recruits coming in a few days. Whiny little bitches that just want to fight.”
“Heh… Yea… Crazy kids that got drafted in the war, eh?”
“Yea, that’s pretty much the majority of ‘em. Sometimes we get a West Point lieutenant or two.” Major Speirs hadn’t gone to a military academy, like General Reigns.
“What’s the operation?” Speirs put his helmet down under his arm as they came into a huge building. They went into a room where the general had maps laid out and a chalkboard of strategies. Speirs wiped blonde hair away from his boyish, blue eyes. He gasped and took the helmet from under his arm, putting it down on the edge of the table.
Reigns was an old fella. He had gray hair and wore four stars upon his helmet. He trained most of his men very hard and had been successful in a lot of his campaigns in the Iraqi war. “Over here, son.” He led Speirs to a table where a map of Egypt was. They were at Asyut, Egypt. The city that was circled in black was Cairo. “We got a lot of Middle Eastern bastards held up in Cairo. They took it about a week ago and keep reinforcing it each day. I got a few sniper scouts that report in every couple of days.”
“You want us to take Cairo?”
“Mhmm… I have three black hawks and about… twelve humvees.” Reigns paused and scratched his head. “We know that one of their generals, and other high ranking officers, is held up in the tall building in the center of the city. The problem is that we don’t know the resistance level of the city.”
“How many did they kill when they entered the city?”
“All soldiers and all civilians.”
Speirs nodded. “Alright… I’ll coordinate the attack more specifically with my officers.”
“Good luck… Don’t leave any one behind, this could earn you a nice reputation and maybe even a star if you get it done right.”
Speirs had been itching for the rank of general in the European theatre. He nodded. “Yes, sir.” He smiled and grabbed his helmet, keeping it under his arm as he exited the room.
Speirs walked out of the building and to the shooting range. Squad one was doing target practice while Squad Two was running laps. He found Fox and walked up to him. “We got an operation underway, I need to call a meeting for it. Tell the officers to let the squads go for now and to report to me.”
“Yes sir!” Fox replied and did what he was told. Speirs set up a chalkboard. The meeting started. Major Speirs, Captain Fox, First Lieutenant Bull, First Lieutenant Foley, Second Lieutenant Woods, and Second Lieutenant Cheatham were all there.
“Alright.” Speirs stood up. “No need for introductions, we all know eachother. We got an operation we need to commence though. This one came straight from the Stars, Reigns wants it done, and done quickly. The whole platoon is gonna be in on it. We gotta take Cairo from the Middle Eastern bastards. There’s a building in the center of the town where lots of high-ranking officers are. Now, defenses and resistance aren’t known, but they shouldn’t be too much since they don’t even know were in Egypt. I want First Squad, with Woods leading them, to take the three Black Hawks and do a rope-drop into the center. I want you to take the snipers from both squads and take out the guards, then drop in. Storm the building, but only fire when necessary. We want to take the general alive.”
“Yes, sir!”
“Then I want Cheatham to take the Squad Two and all the humvees and ride into the city, surrounding the building. I want Woods to take the POW’s out to the convoy and load them up. Squad One will provide rear security, then load up on the back of the convoy and proceed back here.”
“Understood, sir!” Came the response from Woods and Cheat.
“Good… Tell your men.” A runner came up and handed Speirs a piece of paper. “Ah, good luck boys, looks like we just got a few new recruits and a Bradley Tank. Take it with you in your convoy, Cheat.”
“Will do, sir.” Cheat smiled.
“Dismissed men. This operation will commence at 1700 hours tomorrow.”
Throughout the rest of the day, both squads were doing practice runs of it. First Squad was running into the helicopters and starting the engines up, then jumping down from the ropes onto the ground. Second Squad just ran the humvees and .50 cals atop of them through the day.
---1700 Hours the Next Day---
“Load up boys, let’s go, lets go!” Night fell fast as they loaded into the Black Hawks and into the humvees. The pilots looked back at the members of First Squad. In one of the Black Hawks was Sergeant Compton, Corporal Conrad, Private First Class John Toye, Private McCabe, and Private Skadork. In the other Black Hawk was Second Lieutenant Woods, Private Lynx, Private Clarke, Private Winters, Private Tex, and Private Monkey. Bonte was in the second chopper since he was on sniper duty with them. Most of these guys were called by their nickname or their last name, they were rarely called by their actual names.
All of Second Squad were loaded into the humvees and the one Bradley tank. In the tank was Flame, Hunter, and Josza, who were all privates. Fox, Bull, Foley, and Speirs were all in the last humvee in the convoy. They had wanted to stay with their troops and fought side by side with them. Second Squad was made up of 2nd Lt. Cheatham, Sergeant Doc Roe, Corporal Lazer, Private First Class Muck, Private Kerry, Private Bonte, Private Johno, Private Hunter, Private Studders, Private Flame, and Private Josza. Bonte was on sniper duty in Squad One though.
All of them were in camo-uniforms, combat boots, the standard helmets, and light body armor across their chest that was hidden by clothing. On their belts were three fragmentation grenades, one smoke grenade, a combat knife, and a pistol. Conrad checked his piece, then looked across at Compton as he got in. “Hey man, you alright?”
Compton nodded as he put a fresh clip into his G3 Assault Rifle and smacked it in one more time. “Yea, why?”
“You were only on one patrol with us in Europe, you aint nervous?”
“Nah, why would I be?”
“You’re too ****ing brave dude… First battle I was in back in Europe… **** I almost pissed myself!”
“I’m just not like that dude.”
“Go **** yourself Compton.” Conrad shook his head and looked back at him. “Got a pack of cigs?”
“I don’t smoke…”
“Figures… You’re not nervous or afraid and you don’t smoke. The hells wrong with you man?!” Conrad smiled abit.
Compton laughed and only shrugged. Skadork had his M4 Sniper Rifle and he was looking down the scope at a couple of boar that were running. He slipped his finger passed the trigger as the bullet hit one in the head and it stumbled over itself. Conrad looked out the door at it. “You’re one crazed sniper…”
“Practice makes perfect boys.”
“Then why are we watching you?” Conrad chuckled.
“I could hit you a mile away boy.”
“I bet you could… if I was standing still anyway.” Conrad looked at him as he turned.
“Did you just see me hit that boar?”
“What’s your point?”
Skadork was speechless as he shook his head in frustration and turned his head. Toye started to pray out loud and Conrad looked at him, giving him a weird look. “What the hell are you doing man?”
“Asking God to forgive me for my sins.”
“Aren’t our sins forgiven when we die anyway?”
“Are you religious at all, Conrad.”
“I’ve only been to church like twice in my life man, and that was when I was like five.” Conrad said as he shrugged. “I just don’t have faith.”
“That’s weird, I never met a brother who didn’t have faith.”
“Well, there’s a first for everything.”
The pilot looked back at us as he held up five fingers. Sergeant Compton put his mic infront of his mouth and nodded. “Five minutes!” He shouted out over the roar of the choppers. Compton looked down and pointed to the tall building in the center of the city. “Snipers, take out the guards with guns. But remember, don’t shoot any civilians and don’t shoot anybody that looks like a civilian unless they shoot first.” All of the men nodded to the last thing as Skadork and Bone raised their rifles.
They started to snipe as the chopper stopped. “Ropes!” Compton yelled as both ropes were taken out. “Go, go, go!” Conrad watched as Toye and McCabe went out first. Conrad grabbed the ropes, letting his SAW machine gun dangle behind him. He let his gloved hands grasp it tightly as he jumped down and heard one sniper rifle go off right by his head. He closed his eyes as he got a splitting headache and he hit the ground with a thud, falling. His ears were stinging like hell and he covered them as soon as he hit the ground. Compton came down and grabbed him, bringing him to the building and leaving him there.
“You alright, Conrad?”
Conrad opened his eyes and let his gloved hands from his ears as the stinging slowly faded. “Yea… Yea, I think I’m alright.” Conrad shook his head and stood up as the other half of the squad came to meet them. “Alright, Conrad, Lynx, and Clarke. You three wait here and hold off until the convoy gets here. The rest, on me. Remember the rules of engagement, don’t shoot unless shot at. Alright, let’s go!” Woods kicked the front door down and ran in, his M4 barrel pointing one of the guards as he went for his gun.
“Compton, take Monkey and Tex and go up to the second floor. Bring the prisoners down here once they’re rallied up.”
“Yes sir!”
Woods looked at Winters. “Look for any more and bring them here.”
“Yes sir!” He shouted. Skadork and Bonte came up to Woods once they landed as well.
“What are our orders, sir?”
“Go back out by Conrad, Lynx, and Clarke and watch the rooftops.” They nodded and left Woods.
Compton went up with Monkey and Tex to the top of the stairs. He saw one big room and a room to the right. He motioned for them to take the room to the right. Compton rushed into the other room and saw one man talking to a bunch of other men. “Get down! Get down!” He yelled and shoved their heads down. Monkey and Tex came into the room.
“There was only equipment in that room, sir.”
“Alright, help me take these prisoners downstairs to the L.T.” The three of them forced the prisoners downstairs and to Woods. They went outside. Conrad was laying prone, his SAW set up on its bipod. He watched down the street. Lynx and Clarke were watching the other way as the convoy turned down the street and Woods looked at them.
“Put the prisoners into any empty humvees. Squad One, provide rear security for the convoy!” Conrad got up and helped load the prisoners in just as he saw figures on the other side of the street on the rooftops.
“Holy ****! GET DOWN!” He yelled as he dove and covered his ears. The convoy started to move out. The tank was infront and it hit a land mine and went up in flames. The bottom of it reacted with the land mine viciously. The entire tank flew up into the air and came crashing down, landing upside down on the ground. The men inside of it were all killed. One man on the top of the roofs had an RPG and he sent the second humvee, the one behind the tank, in flames. It hit the front and shattered the glass, the explosion killing the driver. The driver wasn’t part of the platoon though, he was an Egyptian volunteer.
Woods looked at Bonte and Skadork. “Snipe the rooftops and watch your back! Set up a defensive perimeter and make sure that no more of the convoy gets hit!” Flames started to spread as the wind picked up. Woods ran over to the tank and kneeled down. He saw a body tumble out of the tank, wrenched in blood, obviously dead. He then looked at the humvee. There was nobody in the passenger seat, thank God.
Fox, Speirs, Cheat, Bull and Foley went up to Woods. “We’re going to use the POW building as a field H.Q. until further notice. Get all of your squad into it!”
“Roger that!” Woods replied to Speirs. Woods shouted out. “All squads, get into the building!” All of the men hurried into the doors, then shut them and locked them.
Woods, Speirs, Fox, Cheat, Bull, and Foley went to the top floor and into the big room. “Who was in that tank?” Woods asked Cheat.
“Flame, Josza, and Hunter…”
“They were good soldiers… Good men…”
Cheat nodded and looked away. Fox got up and shouted to everybody. “Use the windows to fire out at them! Don’t go back outside unless ordered to! We don’t want any more of a body count then we already have! First Squad, take the bottom floor, Second Squad, talk the top floor.”
A machinegun from across the street fired up on them as it traced across the top floor windows and hit Clarke in the shoulder. He fell back and took off his uniform. The body armor didn’t cover that part as blood soaked out. Lynx, who was next to him, screamed for a medic. McCabe ran up to him and swallowed hard.
“Alright, he’ll live, don’t worry.” He said as he kept his hands on the wound, applying pressure. He looked at Lynx. “Listen… hold the wound open long enough for me to get the bullet out.” Lynx nodded. “One… Two… Three!” Lynx opened up the wound as blood squirted out into the open air and into their faces. McCabe took a pair of what looked like tweezers and went into the wound. He found the bullet and pulled on it, then took it out and dropped it on the ground. “Alright, close the wound!” He put pressure on it as he bandaged it up. Clarke was alive, but he passed out. Lynx and McCabe brought him to the back of the room.
The machine gun rattled and Skadork waited for a good moment. Bullets went through the windows and hit the wall, making a loud sound of splitting wood. Conrad opened the door abit to draw fire, letting the bullets off of the belt on his SAW fly towards the man. Skadork turned and looked out the window, looking down his sight and getting a good lock on them man. Conrad felt his shoulder beginning to ache as he turned and Skadork landed the sight on his throat. He squeezed the trigger back as the bullet flew into the man’s throat and he choked, dying. The machine gun was silenced.
Speirs sighed and walked over to Lynx. “Get on the radio with HQ.”
“Yes, sir!” Lynx said and pulled out the phone. “We need air support right now!”
“We’re sorry… You’re gonna have to wait till morning… Then we can send for evac… Hold out boys… Out!” The transmission ended as Lynx shook his head to Speirs. “Gotta wait till morning sir…”
Speirs yelled and sighed. Conrad heard the roar of an engine as he opened the door a little more and saw a jeep going by. He pulled his sights up to his eyes and let the bullets tear into the side of it. The bullets from the mounted machinegun on the back hissed and hit Tex, who was standing just a foot away from Conrad. He didn’t notice that Tex had been hit as one of the bullets landed a direct hit and the jeep went up in flames. Conrad looked at Tex, “****!” He checked his pulse. Nothing.
Conrad shook his head and put in a new belt of ammunition. He closed Tex’s eyes and put him in the back of the room on the bottom floor. Conrad closed the door and heard more gunfire picking up. On the top floor, all the men were at the windows, firing.
An RPG hit the bottom left window, sending shrapnel all over Joe Toye’s face and sending him to the ground screaming. Compton ran over to him and tried to help, but too much blood was coming out and soon, he was dead as well. Conrad put him in the back as well.
The gunfire started to die down as both sides were overheating their weapons and getting more jams. Woods came to the bottom floor and looked at Compton. “Body count?”
“Tex and Joe Toye have both been killed, sir… We brought their bodies to the back of the room…”
“God damnit!” Woods yelled out and sighed, calming down. “Evac is on its way…”
“How long?”
“About 0700 hours…”
“It’s about midnight now, sir, I don’t think we can last that long.”
“We gotta, son, we gotta… I’ll stay down here and help you fend off the attacks. Those MEC ****s are probably staging a good assault plan.”
And they did. The MEC forces used small jeeps to get reinforcements to the scene. They had about five platoons storm the front of the field HQ. “Keep them back, keep them back!” Conrad looked out the window as they tried to bust through the locked doors. Conrad let his bullets fly lose, but he knew he only had one belt of ammunition left. Woods and Compton looked out the other window and fired their pieces as well. Lynx, Winters, McCabe, and Monkey all looked at the door, waiting for the men to fly through.
The doors were busted open and a few stray shots his Monkey and sent him on his back, grabbing his neck as he choked and blood soaked the floor. McCabe tried to help him, but it wasn’t enough. He choked to death as McCabe brought him to the back with the others. Woods saw that they were starting to over run them and he fired the rest of his clip. “Retreat to the top floor and watch the stairs!”
Conrad backed up, firing the last of his belt and killing the last of the assaulting forces. He could hear engines roaring from the MEC jeeps though.
Speirs walked over to Woods. “What’s going on?”
“They busted down the doors with the first wave, if we stayed down there, then the snipers would pick us off easily.”
“Understood, just watch the stairs and make sure they don’t get up here.”
Speirs walked back over to Fox, Bull, and Foley. Skadork went over to a window and helped Bonte snipe out the enemy. The fighting died down from about 12:30 till 1:30 and the soldiers talked for awhile.
“What if one of us gets hit?” Speirs looked at Fox.
“Then we will help them as best we can.” Fox nodded. Foley and Bull went over to the windows to instruct the platoon better.
“Yea, but one if one of us gets killed?”
“Then we’ll get a replacement when we get back to base.”
“What happens if we don’t get back to base?”
“Then we’re all ****ed Speirs…”
Speirs chuckled and nodded. “That wont happen though…”
Conrad was talking with Winters as he took a cig from him and lit it with his lighter. He took a long drag and blew smoke out of his nostrils. “Thanks man.”
“No problem Conrad.” Winters nodded and looked down the stairs at the busted door. “Man, I wasn’t cut out for this…”
“What? The army?”
“Yea… I got drafted in and went through infantry… I took Advanced Infantry just to stay out of the war…”
“Well, ya know, you can’t help it if you get drafted. It’s just how things work out man.”
He nodded. “Yea… I got a girl back home…”
“Really? She pretty?”
He nodded. “I’ll show you a picture of her when we get back to base.”
“I’ll hold you to that promise mate.”
Winters nodded.
Cheat was looking at Middle Eastern books from a bookshelf he had found in the other room. “How the **** do these guys read this ****?”
Doc Roe looked at him. “It’s like English to them, Cheat.”
“This aint English to me.”
“Cause it’s a different language…”
“You said its like English to them.”
“To THEM you *******.”
Cheat shrugged and threw the book out of the window. “****ing Saudi Arabians…”
The fighting started back up again. A sniper caught Studders in the *** and he was taken to the back of the room. The medics went back to help him, he was screaming and making everyone even more nervous and scared of getting shot.
Bonte caught the sniper and hit him, causing him to fall over the rooftop. Soon, the sounds of gunfire picked up again as AK-47’s hit the windows and the walls. They stormed the bottom as Conrad took up his position and fired as soon as they came around the corner. The rest of First Squad picked up the fire and hit them as soon as they turned. Their guns went off in the air and hit the ceiling when they fell.
Winters was the next to get hit. Five men turned the corner and hit him in the kneecap. He fell as Conrad shot them down and then called for a medic. McCabe took him back to where Studders was. Conrad then looked back down and continued to fire at them.
The fighting raged on like this until Lynx got a call on his radio and he gave it to Speirs. “What’s your position?”
Speirs answered back, “The center, tallest building in the city. Land on the roof, we’ll head up there now.” The sun was just rising now and the men were tired as hell. They had been defending themselves and were running very low on ammo. Conrad had been using his pistol for the last two hours, using every shot wisely.
“Roger that, we’ll pick you up, over and out.”
“We’re heading up to the rooftops! I need cover, let’s get the wounded up there and make sure nobody gets hit!”
They took the POW’s up to the top as well, giving them extra covering fire. An RPG hit just to the side as shrapnel hit into Bull and he fell onto his back. He looked at it and took the piece of metal out of his chest plate.
They used stretchers to take all the wounded up there. Bonte and Skadork used their last few shots to take out the gunners and the enemy snipers, then they just slung the rifles over their shoulders and went to the rooftops. The two choppers came into view. This time, they had door gunners that provided lots of cover. They put the wounded and the medics into one chopper and everyone else crammed into the second chopper. When they were lifting off, Johno took a hit to the back of his leg.
When they got back to base, the wounded were taken in and a few soldiers stayed on the choppers. They had to go back for the dead… All the prisoners were taken to General Reigns for questioning.
Conrad, Compton, Skadork, Kerry, and Fox went back with one of the Black Hawks to get the dead guys that they had left behind. “You think the MEC took ‘em?” Conrad asked Fox.
“Maybe… We’ll soon find out guys, we’ll soon find out.”
The rope jump was the same as before. We all jumped down to the ground, but this time, we took in heavy fire. Machine guns from the windows were blazing on us and an RPG went off, sending all of us into different directions. Skadork was blasted onto his back a few feet away from Conrad and Fox. Skadork looked around, he seemed lost or something. Fox went up to him, but he couldn’t tell what Fox was saying. Soon, everything echoed back in and he could hear again.
Fox ran up to the building, “Let’s Go!” He checked the back to see if they were still there. “Alright, they didn’t take ‘em. Kerry, help me get them to the rooftop, Skadork and Conrad, give us covering fire!”
“Yes sir!” Everybody shouted as Conrad and Skadork went up to the second story. Conrad laid down his shells onto the buildings across the street while Skadork sniped the ones on the rooftops.
“Alright, let’s get up to the rooftop!” Fox and Kerry were bringing the first guy out. They had to bring out six… Conrad drew what looked like a revolver, but a flare shot out of it. He looked as the helicopter came flying back towards them. A bullet hit Skadork in the head as Conrad ran over to him.
“Hey man, you alright?!” Skadork’s helmet had bounced off. He picked up his helmet and found the bullet lodged into the front of it. He put it back onto his head.
“That was weird…”
The Black Hawk landed and they loaded the six dead guys up. They went back to base and brought them inside… This was the beginning of the war against the Middle Eastern Coalition.

Chapter One: Cairo
“When did you and your boys transfer in?” General Reigns and Major Speirs were pacing the dry, hot desert floor.
