Flickering/Grainy/Jagged Black Triangles Appearing on Screen!

As seen in the thread title, I am seeing flickering, jagged black triangles on the screen or grainy textures appear about 5 minutes into playing BF2.

They do not appear until I'm in the game and they start off mild, but then progressively get worse and worse till the game is unplayable.

Hitting ESC to the main menu, then re-entering sometimes helps a little, as does alt-tabbing out and back in. Occasionally, changing my display settings while in game can help the issue.

I have a GeForce 5900XT from BFG.

That is a graphics card problem. Either lower your graphics settings for the game or buy a beter card.
Your power supply may not be providing enough power to the card, or things are getting a bit hot inside your computer.
