Binding 'ESC' key to a safer place on my keyboard (away from F1)?

Is there a way I might be able to bind the 'Escape' key to something I'm less likely to hit while switching positions, like F12 or what have you?

Um, you can try to look for it in your Controls.con which can be found in C:\Documents and Settings\Windows Username\My Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles\0001

You should be able to reassign it in the game settings.
