When did Insomnia become a really uptight server? Before it was 3 tks auto ban and no penalty for negative points. Nowadays if you runover 3 people (almost guaranteed when taking off) its autokick. There was a glitch before where if you run over multiple people it only counted as 1 or 2 TKs. But the negative points will get you kicked.

What they need to kick for is high pings. Getting tired of the Euro's joining w/ 220 ping & making it laggy. if you dont live in the USA, then dont join Insomnia, simple as that. -

We have setup and are adiminstrating the servers per the ROE..
When we first took over the servers it was nothing more than a tk fest and people runway blocking ..
we have cleaned them up alot, the negative points kick has always been set,
these servers were filled with stat padders and people glitching in buildings..
we must be doing something right, 3 of their servers are now in the top 15 in the world most of the time..

It will lag when you are in a vehicle. If you have someone in the turret or gunners seat that has a high ping, it will completely screw with your game. But yes, they are kicking for people with high pings.Originally posted by Chris_Redfield
I generally ping about 15-19 to Insomnia365, but the other night, someone in my house was either on YouTube or doing a torrent, because my pings would jump to 40-250 and I was getting kicked.

I have never had this problem. I admit I have lag gunning in helos, but that is because my computer is just above the critical line. I have not seen people lag a server otu because they are pinging high. And Ive played with 300-400ms ping people. I myself have played with 400, and the lag was still my side only.
In SWAT4, most people play with 100 and up to 200, with many, many going even above 200 mark. And servers lag because they are home based, using a desktop computer, dedicated servers run fast and smooth even with high pingers.
The thing is- server doesnt wait for anyone, so high pingers screw themselves, not other people.Comment
