Quick question- When you buy special forces and install it, can you still play all the normal BF2 maps?

Also, can you use your SF weapons on normals BF2 servers?

Edit (one more question)- Do the stats you earn playing SF count towards the BF2 stats you have now?

You get a green "2" for SF and of course the red "2" for vanilla BF2.
The two act as different games. The tear gas and hooks that are in SF can't be used in vanilla.
The positives for SF... cool new maps and special weapons + as a token if you play online for 1 round, you will get unlocks that you can use in vanilla

Also, when you play SF online on the new maps, do those stats count on the normal BF2

Yes and yes

Some stats will go towards SF awards.

Compare your current page http://bf2s.com/player/66323359/ to mine http://bf2s.com/player/68617844/ . You'll see the additional SF awards and such. General kills and points go to the overall rank though.

For SF Depending on your location there will be some. Find one with good ping and peopled and you'll do ok. I prefer three specific ones.

I've been playing it for a while now, and having a great time! I love that palace....

I think i'm going to play regular BF2 with the new weapons for a little bit now...

I just got the SF unlocks today thanks to 7man..


And if i may say so..The weapons are really good.
I really enjoy having the l96,and the f2000.


And yeah,you can use them in normal bf.

Its tottaly worth it. I love using the tear gas and grappling up random stuff.
