1.41 Patching Failed

Hey guys, need a little bit of help here, upgraded my PC to Intel Core 2 Duo and in the process of putting everything back in.

I installed BF2, had a old download of the 1.41 patch, tryed to patch it and failed, ok, so I think it could be corrupt, so I go download another one, same error. So I reinstall BF2, do the restart and all, try again, same old thing "Patching Failed", so right now I'm ready to snap. I installed SF, no probs, patch to 1.1 fine, tryed 1.41 again. Same error.

I tryed some of the things in this forum, but no good :hmm:

Anyone got any ideas?

Thats interesting, I had a problem where 1.1 patching failed whilst installing SF. I rectifyed it by Installing in this order vBF2>1.41>SF>1.41

But from what you are saying is that 1.41 is failing at any point in this process correct?

It keeps failing the Objects_server.zip part.. Just downloaded 1.40, get the same thing..

Could it be because my CPU is oc'ed??

It's the same thing with my PC. I've got a AMD dual core and it messes on objects_client.zip.

I would strongly recommend disabling your anti virus then trying again a few times. I did it and it worked so :)

And when uninstalling, use the EA method
