CoD1 = awesome game, played it for years...
CoD2 = OK game, completed it in about 8 hours straight on hard...just a great big nade spamming fest with the stupidly powerful thompson SMG.
CoD3 = Looks like more of the same crap which I've decided not to waste my cash on. Its just fancy graphics and no gameplay, but that seems to be the norm thesedays from the big publishers i.e. EA and UBI etc.

I think i know why it isnt released on the PC

in COD2 for the pc many people were unhappy with the Multiplayer expirence that COD2 had people just called it a graphics upgrade nothing else rather like CS 1.6 to CSS

If COD3 came for the PC i think Infinity ward and Activision would have hadto build a new better Mulitiplayer side as many of the community myself included would of hoped for more usable weapons and vehicles on MP mode

This would take more time and as they only had 12 months to complete COD3 this just wasnt feisable and they decided it would be best if they made it console only and wait for a future release of the game to build a new mulitpayer engine

Plus i think COD3 is more like an expansion than a brand new game and i would be unwilling to give up £30 or $50 for just a better single player expirence

Console gamers tend to be less critical of this sort of stuff as they are used to getting ripped off like this plus multiplayer isnt as well developed on consoles as the pc

so it wasn't just me that thought cod 2 was more of a graphic update nothing new.

                  tell me why they didn't
Activision already made billions of the first 3 Call of Dutys, everyone loved them and would keep buying there products. So they don't care what system there going to put it on, they know there going to make money, plus they want people to buy consols.

I dont see the big deal, its just a recycled version of COD2. i played it and was unimpressed.
