Build For BF2

Hey, I am going to build a computer to play BF2 because only once can in the house. I have already picked out most of the pieces and I want to know if I could get better pieces for around the same price or tips. I also need help on choosing a sound card and processor and making sure everything works together.

Pieces are...
Mother Board
Memory
Video Card
Power Supply
Hard Drive

With this processor I have a few questions...
-Is it bad that I don’t get Dual Core with this?
-What is the relevance with the cores and the locations?
-This should be compatible with my mother board because they are Athlon 64 FX but what is with the socket type on them?

With the soundcard, I want something above average but not too expensive. I don’t know anything on this piece so I need help with it.

you have overall chosen a VERY good computer. Your processor will be extremly fast even though it's running on only one core. Trust me.

hehe you didnt notice it was a Socket 939 processor and a AM2 motherboard,
