today, for a long time in awhile, i got onto BF2 vanilla servers.but as soon as it got to "join game", it would disconnect and say "the server only lets players with unmodified content to join. please go back to the current official version and try again." can someone please help me?

Actually I got this last night for any EF servers. Vanilla and SF are fine. Not sure yet what it is but I'll report back when I figure it out today. Just haven't had time to dig into it yet.Comment

I'm afraid you'll have to uninstall bf2 and special forces if you have it then reinstall the whole lot then patch it all again. Take a day off to do it
