Invalid CD-Key (tryed everything in the BF2 Community Tech FAQ)

whenever i try to connect to a server i get a box thats says Invalid CD-Key.
This has happened before but i managged to fix it using the FAQ.
Althogh this time ive gone through the FAQ and it is still not working.
I've tried nearly everything like repatching, downloading the patch from a diferent site, reinstalling the game + all the things in the FAQ

Are you using the same Windows account that was used to install the game? Any system changes since the last time it worked?

When going through the FAQ, I suppose you've cleared out the registry as well? (just wondering coz you didn't mention that)

Do you own a copy of BF2 and have an original not-duplicated serial key?

Hey guys. I have the same problem too...
Here's what I've done since the last time I've play BF2 online.
I restored my PC, downloaded patch, installed the patch, then I downloaded the newest Project Reality... I don't know what's wrong.

P.S. I also have two user accounts on my PC, and they both have BF2 on them. Could that be the problem?

Where did you get your CD keys from? If you bought a BF2 from store brand new then its good. If you like got a key generator then thats why. Also if you got it on eBay, it might have been used by other people. Hint to all, as soon as you get a legit key, register it so no one else can use it.

same problem here..did everything from every resource I found. I have complied wit every possible situation ie- i own the purchased from store copy..manula unisntallions, repatchs from different sites..you name it! i have done it..last ditch is to call EA tomorrow. Wich im looking foreward too since i havent spoken to a inept foreign customer service center ina long time
