the only thing that an Athlon 64 and XP 64 bit have in common is that you need the Athlon 64 (or Intel equivalent) to run XP 64.

And yes BF2 works just fine on XP 64, but has to run in 32 bit mode as the game is not 64 bit. That and a search would have found lots of threads about the same thing,

ok thanks alot, just worried cause i ordered a new computer and i dont want to pay all that money and not even be able to run bf2.
