Where is everyone? :(

Hey guys!

Just bought BF2 again today after losing the disks. Last time I played was like a year ago... January or something.

Back then, there were tons of west coast servers including the EA US Official West servers... now there's hardly none!

I ping 150+ to any server that has people on it (and there are few) and it's even hard to find one of those!

What happened? Is the in game server browser just terrible or is BF2 dead?

I hope I didn't waste 40 bucks :-(

There is still plently of servers left, check your filters. BF2 is certainly not dead, It's just lost a few pounds.

Yeah, I usually get about 800+ servers and my filters are quite strict so you shouldn't have much of a problem

There are still tons (1000+) servers, and like everyone has already said...

Just update your patch and fix the filters.

There are more servers running than you will ever imagine
Goto http://www.game-monitor.com/ and have a look....
I do it the old fashioned way, i look up servers in my area and then write (yes with pen and paper lmao) all the server IP's i might like to join. I have a big list on a notepad of good servers
Try it, pen and paper aint dead just yet lol :p

Jokes, there are still alot of servers, try checking your filters and update to 1.41.
