    Battlerecorder

I wanted to try the battlerecorder but I dont get how to turn it on. I wanted to like fly around somewhere but not in multiplayer and then just see how it looks. How do I get it to work?

On a local or single player

    Hit the Console button ~

    Then type demo.recordDemo <demonamehere>
    To stop type demo.stopRecording

Download Battlelauncher to edit/retrieve the files

    Cheers

I don't think Battlelauncher is updated for 1.41, but you can watch them in BF2 and Fraps them, them edit and compress.

Has some decent tutorials on removing nametags, etc..

          Re: Battlerecorder

From what I remember, when you record a demo, it creates a folder in C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\demos, and this is where you need to go to retrieve it. From there you right click copy it to My Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles\Default\Demos, and then restart BF2 and you should see it under the community tab in the browser. But I haven't done it in a while, so the path in Program Files may be different.
