    How much space?

    Hi there!

    I have a quick question:

How many GB does it take to record a 1024x768 movie, 30min long and with like 50FPS ?
Are there any big differences between for example AVI, MPEG4 and WMV?

Uncompressed, a 2GB drive won't nearly be enough!

When i record with fraps I get 10 minutes on 2gb...

Hmm yeah... I was thinking of recording a whole round :)...

Anyway, i have one problem and it's that I get very low FPSs (25-20) while I play and record, which makes it hard to play good... Anyone know any good recorders which don't take that much CPU?
Or should I just go via battlerecorder?

You certainly don't need 50fps, tv is transmited at 25-30fps.

Your looking at about 20gb for 30 mins.

As for recording software. I have looked into this before and also tried some different ones. Fraps is generally considered the best, even though it reduces your FPS a lot. Its not so bad if your computer is good and you turn all graphics settings on low.

Maybe try a mixture of battle recorder and fraps footage. Good luck.
