1.41 hangs (cursor stuck) on game start, but it doesnt crash

There is this error i'm getting every time, that i go to start, on the spawn point select screen the cursor is stuck and it hangs, but not really as i can see the game running ok in the background...

I wish there were servers running the old version which was stable and that there were people happy with playing the old version, i didnt feel i wanted to upgrade to this s:@t but had to as everyone else did.

System specs, running processes, running services, we need them all.

Just go to options and reset your configs. Patching sometimes messes up all configs and they're all empty, usually resetting to default helps.

Ok guys,

Just new here, but euhr having te same problems as the topic starter.

Bought i new config pc, evrything working great also bf2142 but when i start up bf2 multiplayer it loads his map then you get ingame you choose your kit and then nooo evrything freezes :s tried out bf2 patch from ea also doesnt works, pb is up to date en it is just the game al the other applications stay running and cpu at that time is only for 50 procent euhr under pressure ram only 35 procent.

so ok i really dont get it, this system works great have no problem at all evry game runs smooth even bf2142 (which is the same socket as bf2 i thought)
only bf2 in multiplayer seems to ggrrrrrr freezes a lot. really dont know anymore what to do so pls help?
