          Key,

Please make sure you get this on www.gamerztheatre.com ASAP! Crazycanuck will help you with whatever you need.

With Sands of Fire preview coming exclusively on Christmas Day to GamerZTheatre, the runoff exposure for your video will be tremendous. It would be a shame not to take advantage of this as I think you have a tremendous video.

Re: Chase at Fushe: The Movie

You did a good job Keylite... it's a nice action flick!

It must have been difficult to get that chase sequence right. You must have gone through hell with the Battlerecorder to find the right shots and angles. I liked the carflips, never seen it like that before so definitely two thumbs up.

The music was ok, best in the last part. Soundfx was ok. I didn't like the voiceacting though, it was too difficult to hear what they were saying. I think you should have lowered the bass from the voices and maybe leveling the music even more. But I know how difficult it can be to find good voices.

I was a little bit puzzled with the story, I understand you created a backstory. That's an orginal idea but in the movie the story never got a hold of me. Maybe it was because the movie was so short.

Nice to see this movie finally finished, looking forward to what you will be creating next.

Re: Chase at Fushe: The Movie

Thanks for your input StRuPiE! I'll make sure to improve the voices for the next movie..

The video itself is really all about capturing a past CIA member alive, if possible, since he holds valuable data about the thousands of compromised files, such as who he told, etc. Hence why they did not really shoot on site and tried to rush in with an element of surprise (That did not work too well)

I guess i could have been more specific by adding different dialog, but I do agree that the voice acting does have its flaws.. I will address this problem, and the others, for the sequel

                  Thanks for the comments!

Re: Chase at Fushe: The Movie

Not many movies, BF2 or otherwise compel me to write a review type comment on any forum, in fact as far as I can recall this is the first to do so.

So lets take it from the top. Firstly the background and plot, to be honest this is one of the few that has a detailed back story in a BF2 movie. Whilst the details are briefly reinforced in the actual movie the complementary image clears and uncertainty away. In short one good and original idea to base a movie on.

Moving on to camera work, this appears to be one hell of a task for the editor. I can imagine the countless takes to get things just perfect, some of the shots are on par with real movie productions, the slow motion combing with fast rotations created a seriously slick finish to this movie.

I am particularly fond of the shots from 04:14 to 04:17 they are superb and capture the moment perfectly. The bullet rendering is a excellent sequence some thing that is great to see introduced into BF2 movies. Hats off to Darkelfa there.

The music is subtle and well timed, if I was listening purely to the music I would have thought that I was in a cinema watching a film created in Hollywood. I was impressed with the sound effects during the slow-motion takes they were really the cream of the crop.

The voices are generally good, pretty good by the standards of a BF2 movie. However as someone else noted they seem a little ‘bassy’ and hard to understand at points. There are a few comments that are unnecessary and just don’t add anything to the film, for example the conferring between the two FAV on the bridge whilst the suspect is surrounded, it was a tense moment that was ruined by the voices in my opinion.

You pulled off some interesting events in the film, especially with the constraints of the BF2 engine this is especially during the car chase.

I have almost no nits to pick here, the whole compilation that has merged into the movie makes it ooze with class and professionalism. If I hadn’t seen the closing credits I would have thought it was produced by a big shot Hollywood team. This is one hundred and sixty megabytes of space my hard drive will never get back!

                          Ha ha .
Well I waited and was not disappointed with the Film, nice bloody job Key; I owe you a beer you done a hell of a job with it. The thing I liked the best was the tempo story was basic attack but very well executed. And USA didn’t win yeahhhhh, Sound was very well produced Sir. Xalias nice job 10-10. Editing I will give 7-10 not because of any bad edits but I thought there was to much flash edits - - whipes. Which worked very well with the tempo, so I just nip picking. Well worth the wait very well produced, directed, edited sound design.
                          9 - 10
A very good produced & executed Film.

                              That was spectacular. Great job!

Favorite parts were the scenes near the jump from the blackhawk (nice touch: you can see the other helo through the open bay doors!)--why can't my team ever actually coordinate like that?
