there are two main ways to take both flags on the palace

1)attack both flags at the same time using grapples through the windows.

2)take the third floor flag first then use ziplines to get to the scond floor.
when attacking seconf floor from zip lines be sure to shoot tear gas at the second floor before you deploy your line, ther are a few reasons for this
1) enemy cannot see you and you zip line
2) enemy cannot shoot at you because they cannot see you
3) its quicker than running all threw the way around and down the stairs.

anyway these are the 2 effective ways i have found after playing SF.

p.s ive only been playing for about 2 to 3 hours and i have both basic and vetren grapple and zipline badge, my basic spec ops and anti tank combat specialitst badge and my tatcial weapons badge

The best way to take the palace is to drive round at the start of the round, take out the enemy assets UAV-Satellite straight away so the commander cant see where you are, while your doing this your teammates split up and take both flags at the same time...you need 1 spec ops, 1 support, 1 medic, other 3 can be whatever they want.

This is an ideal situation. If your wanting to win the round then Warlord is best working back to front, take take the palace and work back towards the USMC base. if your wanting kills and points then 1 flag at the palace and the TV station and wait:)

Thats with over a 100 hours in spec forces

As a solo person, I try to Sniper my way to the palace if it is later in the game and the Brits have the TV station or switch, Insurgents have TV and Brits have taken palace. Zip from Top of TV to Sniper tower (calling tower next to Mosque) Then zip to Mosque roof. Then to parking ramp of house in between mosque and palace. Go to roof of that building and zip to palace 2nd floor balcony. Once in, go to third floor and claymore flag zone and neutralize flag. Zip to 2nd floor and cap flag completely. Clays will hopefully keep any palace peeps off of 3rd flag and being neut they can't spawn in on anything less than a squad leader. Go back and cap last flag. Unless you run into two or more prepared peeps in Palace, this has been a pretty smooth capture for me twice. Capping and converting one only makes the palace turn into a firefight within a minute to two minutes.

I go the long way for it since I am not that person that finds my way by graple since I just got the game this week otherwise good tips.

MY WAY TO THIRD FLOOR
ALMOST ALWAYS WORKS


Become assault when u are SAS
Drive around the back...ON THE WEST SIDE
Grapple hook over the wall
grab your hook
Now hook onto the little roof that covers over the jeep
use your hook to get up there
get you hook and throw it up to the window.
climb up
get your hook back
FLASHBANG IN THE ROOM
go in and clear out
cap flag
I've done it so many times

Yeah it almost always works... except when there is a massive palace firefight on....then its even more fun to do!!!
you can get so many kills with the f2000!!

my favorite to cap both flags at same time:

1 assault, 1 whatever:

the beginning is like sgt hearne, u parachute with assault, on west side, go to palace grapple first wall... then:

i go at the back, grapple the balcony of the third floor.... my squad member goes up, waits for my signal, then i take my grapple back and put it at the second floors balcony , go up, give signal and cap the 2 flags at the same time....

later on when killed, respawn at palace with spec ops and destroy all assets.....

The moment you destroy the assets the commader really knows where you are! Take the assests down when you have the flags! Make them feel safe shooting parachuting SAS' from the Plaza.
I figured that it is the best to cap both flags at the same time. and with the support of your commaner giving you the UAV support over the palace you can take the flag easily.
