What's up with all the grenades?

Yes, I am new to this so lets get that out of the way. Now, what is the point of having a whole squad full of medics hopping around throwing grenades almost exclusively? I get the fact that it works and will rack up some points, but its seems, I don't know, gay.

I really don't want to start trouble with this thread, but last night was the first time I experienced coordinated spamming and was just surprised to see it used like that. Sort of like in Age of Empires when you get 40 monks coming at you converting all your guys. WTF?

Again, I'm new at this, but could a server admin specify a certain ratio of each kit per round? 10 assault, 2 snipe, 2 medic... you get the idea.

One more time, for clarity, I know I suck but remember you did once too.

Meh, nade spamming a co-ordinated area rocks. But random spamming like you see on Karkand is crap, and all it does is make your screen go blurry.

No, admins cannot change loadouts.

Get used to it, or avoid Karkland.

People do it for the points. The only way a server admin can enforce what you suggest is if the server is unranked.

Yep, Karkand IO it was. I always thought of grenades as a supplemental weapon, not a primary.

These are the points crazed morons of Bf2, circle around them when possible.
Be careful when attacked they are known to run off with blazing speed and self heal.
You used a comparasion to another game and method used, well the IO medic (or CQC in general) is the easy mode. I compare it to the MMORPG love child/god mode class.
Add in the resupply and total number of nades and its a fierce force.

Points are all well and good but I think I'd rather just kill more than I get killed. Right now I'm working on the second part and its not going so well.

If you like karkand but hate the spam play the vechile option. Barely anyone is medic (mainly AT and Spec ops) and AT dont even have nades so as a medic you can get alot of points keeping your squad alive. The only problem is the god-like arty!

Last night after playing about 10 rounds of Kubra, Karkand, & Oman w/ 4 of my clan, we (|SI|BLacK_JeSuS, & I) were "pwning" in the bomber, I was "pwning" in armor, but they started camping the airfield hard, & 2 of us called it a night

So I went to a Karkand IO server ([Tc), & had a "good ole' time" "support whoring", "BLack" was still on vent, & I told him I was "****in' dudes up" so he joined me

I had 1 round on US where I was 33-0, (about 6-7 PKM kills), the rest where 'nades, & got "gold"

I would from my fav spot spam a few well aimed (NOT random) 'nades by UAV like a light mortar, they would get all "pissed off", & come around the corner to kill me, but.......

1. I invited enough ppl to my squad (I was SL) that my squad was full, & guys were always spawning on me

2. The commander kept UAV up over us, so I always had advanced warning they were comming, so I managed to kill every 1 that tried to turn the corner, & gun me down, I only died twice from a good 'nade sailing over the fence, but I was revived both times

It is more difficult to 'nade spam when mec, but not impossible, if you know the right spots you can go 22-4, or 27-6, it is very lucrative

Some ppl like "fishing", I like "catching fish"

BLacK_JeSuS said that it was "so gay", that if Richard Simmons came into the server he would say, "I like it"

See, I used to get "pissed off" about 'nade spammers too, but I have learned to adapt, the main problem is dudes are not trying to win the round (cap flags), they just want to get a good k/d ratio

Avoid karkand and jala less nades in all other maps since there a bit more spread out.

nade spamming is one of the gayest things in the game. things you can do to avoid it------

1. dont play karkand (i do, because i love it....aside from the nades)
2. make sure FF is on
3. dont play IO
4. and whatever you do, DO NOT mix those three
