I've been trying it for the last couple of days with mixed results, but it does show promise.

It is not for moving targets, and I still have to fine-tune my technique for reliable one-bomb drops on the stationary ones, but it does seem to work. I tend to move in fast and drop quickly when playing the F35 on a J10 map, and I find it does not work well for that.

The dive is still the best technique for the hot drop on a moving target.

Dam nice video Wish I had that kind of skill and could fly the jet and own it up but I suck at bombing.

Yeah, that was one of THE most extreme bombs I've ever seen... going to practice that ASAP :)!

EDIT: I have practiced this and on stationary targets it works like a CHARM! I have bombed down helipads by just going right over them and bomb, which is awesome. I have also managed to get a few kills on moving objects, but that is a hell of a lot harder.

Anyways, I think this is one of THE best BF2 tips ever to be posted here. Thanks alot!

Xennores video. Look it up.

General advice is pretty generic. You can either check out PlaneWhores video and watch how he bombs and mark down his drop moment, his approach style, or simply go up to 200-400 metres, dive down, release when you feel confident you can make it back up. Aim just below the aiming reticle. With practice you will soon do it subconsciously.

Sharp angle get as close to ground as you can (and still be able to pull up) put target (or lead the target if its moving fast) around the top of the line, pull up and hit f11 so you can see where your bombs landed to know if you need to refine your skillz, some time skicking in the after burner helps but tis harder.

if you are in a bobmer this is ALOT easier you can rape anything in one run, and if you have afighter one you then pull all the evasive manuvers you can and ehad for high altitude until u stall, fighters stall first, never stay in one turn 4 2 lond or ur screwed.
