    Laggy Computer

My friend has a 256 Mb Graphic Card(i dont have all the info of it) and it still lags even when on low graphics.

Is this normal for him? LOL, Seriously.
Before he upgraded, he had a 128 MB and was the same lag he got with the 256.

Well, i dont have alot of info of his specs/stats on his comp or Graphic Card.
All know is that he also has 1GB of RAM of memory.
Is there any tips i can just tell him to have his performance run faster?

That's what is happening to me, it's because he doesn't have enough RAM you need at least 750MB of RAM to play lagg free.

Yeah, i used to have 512 mb of ram with an nvidia 7600, couldnt even turn around in a full circle in the middle of nowhere without having 5 minutes of lag

whats his processor? and his ram probably isnt compatible if it is lagging.
be sure to get the name of that card ASAP and then i can help you

Or didn't reinstalled OS after changing video card. It is a must if moving from ATI to Nvidia and vice versa.

              Re: Laggy Computer

It's becuase of the lack of RAM You should at least have 1GiG for high settings and 2GiG for Max textures, never take drastic measures such as reformating or re-installing the OS. Also it can be fixed but tweaking the PageFile type 'pagefile or/and 'page file' into the search I wrote a small guide on how to fix this issue last week.

Let's get things straight. 256MB of memory means nothing. My 256MB 9600 is absolute ****e, yet a 256MB x1950XT is a beast in comparison.
