    Dice feedback forum

Allright, i know everyone is thinking this and i've been waiting for some retard to blurt it out in some random, hilarous, and quoatable way, but i'll just tackle this one myself. The DICE feedback forum is gone for those who haven't noticed and it seems to be proof that DICE (now part of EA) doesn't care about bf2 anymore. When is the last time that DICE guy even posted on here? Hopefully they will return to the bf2 community soon as 2142 sales seem to be pathetic. New ranked maps and the (promised!!!!!!!!!!!!!) community developed ranked map program would be great, it would definitly influence my purchase of future EA products, as of now I will not buy an EA product ever again. If EA started doing something that the majority of the community wanted (BY PUTTING A ****ING POLL IN THE MESSAGE FROM EA ON GAME STARTUP WITH OPTIONS FOR FUTURE PATCHES) I might buy an EA game (well after its release to ensure existant customer support), but it can't be a mod of a game I already have. Did you see in the feedback area why it was taken down? At least we got to keep our post count from it :p I do miss referencing back to some of the posts that were over there though

*edit* just saw that, when the site admins believe that EA/DICE doesnt care, EA/DICE doesnt care.

        DICE“s way of saying-

"Hello, thank you and goodbye suckers."

Sad really. Xfire shows BF2 having twice the number of BF2142 players and I estimate that BF2142 will drop out from the TOP10 in less than 3 months.

That's what they did to 1942 and Vietnam, maby if they keep't a small team for costomer servises they would keep the BF2 community running and get more money for ranked servers. And support for clans i.e helping to start up a site (witch will never happen) would result in more clans and more money from servers.

I played the DEMO and it's and alright game but it gets boring after an hour of playing.

Yeah, some of what you guys are saying it true.

It was taken down due to the inactivity of DICE.

Any questions or comments on BF2 that you were planning to post in that area can just be posted in the general discussion forum.

(Note: If there were any big threads in the feedback section you guys still want to discuss, we can probably grab them and move em over.)

Thanks for the offer Tren. There might be a few around, you should check if their content was good and if they were popular until the end. There were some quality threads there.

That's because 2142 sucks real bad.

It's really sad, BF2 could have been the greatest fps ever, it has great graphics, generally great game play, and almost forces players to interact with each other like no game before it, unfortunely EA had dollars signs in their eyes, and have been slowly killing it, damn shame.

They killed off BF2 profit wise way before it needed too. Instead they modded BF2 into BF2142 and got to charge $50.00 for the priviledge to play on modded code. They should have stuck with BF2, introduced more armies, maps, expansions for another year at least. Not the crappy euroforce either, full playable add ons that use the main or SF codebase.
Then, when you have the functionality and codebase, port that into BF3 with better kick *** graphics in 18 months from now.

Oh, and an easy gameplay enhancing item for the next patch should be to make daylight version of the night SF maps. Almost no one plays them as is.

you should send your ideas and CV to EA, im sure they'd take you on with your "milking it" attitude.
the expansion packs really messed up bf2, bf2 started with very few maps, they made special forces, which had very few maps, then the other 2 small mods. it was just too much crap. servers were seperated, then even more when players didnt have the armoured fury and got kicked from servers.
the game lacked content, but they wanted people to pay for what they should have had in the first place.

back on topic, actually im glad the dice forum has gone, alot of the threads in there were full of whining about something that killed them alot. hopefully we will see no more patches, so dice cant **** the game up anymore.
