I have TWO copies of BF2 that I paid for....and each copy has a unique CDKey. I am on a cable modem and run a router so that each computer gets an internal address. When I try to connect BOTH computers to an online game...I get INVALID CD KEY.

Is it possible that the EA servers are seeing two UNIQUE CD Keys mapped to the same EXTERNAL IP address and giving me the error.

I was thinking that we would be able to play together on the internet...but my ISP only supplies me with ONE IP address. 70.89.134.245 Is this going to be a problem?

can each ciomputer play bf2 seperately? and i thought after the ip address, theres a port number for each one

ive had a friend over my place and we both conected up fine so its not the two comp's on one IP issue. is possible someone has hacked your cd key, but yer do both work seperate?

Thanks Munk...I figured it out. When I bought the second copy and went to change the CDKey using BF2 Code.exe....I didn't use BF2CDCHECK.exe....when I did that...it encrypted the key in the registry and we played just fine.
