Install issue

Need some help on this:

I have my game installed on drive H: ... not C: drive. The installation states that it needs 2400mb. I have installed it last year when I bought it. But, now I have forgotten how I did it. Can anyone help me on the installation of this CD?

you can pick the installation destination in the setup i think its says something like install to C:\program files\ea games\battlefield 2 , you can change the driver letter to make it install somewhere else..

Does it actually refuse to install? There was an old BF2 patch that actually did need a couple of Gig on C: even if you had your game installed elsewhere but later patches fixed that. I think they still give a warning about space on C: but then install anyway.

Sorry I didn't see this post,im having same problem with pationed hard drive.Some one awnserd me about using junction exe line command.Which I have no idea really what to do,looks a little scary.Do you rememberd what you did before.Is there another way to do this.Really want to try this add on.

Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

Same question I asked the original poster: have you tried selecting a different drive to install on? It will warn you about space on drive C but should install anyway as long as you have space on the actual install drive.

I m not sure how to tell if it installed...i get that error message, you hit okay and seeems not to finish the install.This is really bugging me.It doesn't give me the option to select the actuall install drive.

What's the exact error message you get?

its giving me the error that not enough hard drive space(2400mb)...then i hit the okay button.It seems to just stop installing,i waited about 20min and nothing.I downloaded this.Could that be the problem.But I have the original BF2.Do you have the original?Does it give you a choice in where to install.
